After the first day of my work and the talk with Ezikiel Black of the black enterprises I realised where we had to change and started making plans on implementing them to get our company to a better place and after giving time to think through our meeting I also understood why Black's stood in the first place and there is a chance we may never reach that place.
As the company was progressing with the newly implemented polices, as expected it resulted in a positive outcome, I realised my dad was making plans of destroying my sister's schedule to make her come back sooner which in other situation I wouldn't mind but not now when from my dream I can remember the number of people protecting her while being her hidden gaurds and how I was able to for kidnap her only because she didn't want her hidden gaurds to die and everyone had to die for me to reach her. So I somehow convinced my dad to stop actively pursuing her and wait for her to come back though it created nothing but problems between us, but thanks to my grandpa who read between the lines and understood I know something that could destroy a lot for us if we disturb her and helped me convince my dad to stop pursuing her.
But I had kept tracks on what she is doing throughout which was easier because she didn't deliberately hide, if she did that it would have make it nearly impossible to find her because Ezikiel would make sure of that.
After her schedule I expected her to come back home but she spent some time with Ezikiel and his family before she started training for her concert which I have to say was a spectacular one to watch.
Today she was finally coming back after her concert and as I expected my dad decided to send a car to pick her up and I told him that I will also go in the car to pick her to which he gave me a wierd glance but who cares when I am just trying to make sure none of them are going to die which would absolutely be the end game if there is even a scratch on her body.
I reached the airport and didnot expect to recieve a shock by noticing none other than Mr Ezikiel Black who seemed like he arrived long before I did. As if that wasn't enough I saw my sister hug him as soon as she came even though she saw me, though I know of their relationship seeing it right infront me made huge difference and to experience the softest expression on Ezikiel Black's face and the comforting words from his mouth nearly gave me a heart attack because I don't think I have seen him put a soft expression or heard him say nice words to anyone else other than his family and I think the love he has for her is even more that what he has for his family and that scares the shit out of me.
Just when I thought I had enough shocks for the day I heard my sister say she wants to introduce him to our family and I felt like I would faint any minute and to my surprise he accepted note my sarcasm there, because he was the happiest with the news and just when I was thinking any other news wouldn't make me as shocked as this one she drops the bomb of asking him to invite his family to ask her hand in marriage today and I nearly faint hearing the news atleast he has the courtesy to confirm with her and to which I hoped she would say No but guess god doesn't love me today, hearing her response he calls his parents but not before letting his secretary cum brother in law protect her as if I would chew her out.
Pushing my thoughts to the back of my mind and without thinking much I blurt out " Have you gone crazy, Raine? What are you thinking ? Introducing him to our family now is in itself a risky and stupid move and you want his family to come home and ask your hand in marriage?" to which I received no response which made me mad and in anger I moved forward to shake her out our of her revive and bring her back to this world and make her realise that she is spouting nothing but utter nonsense but ignored the presence of Aiden who was protecting her only to be pushed back on the floor without any mercy and within a second Ezikiel was on her side protecting her and because of me being pushed down it resulted in a fight to blow out between the two groups, one protecting me and the other protecting her even though they were out numbered they fought in a way which I realised would result in us being defeated hence I asked my gaurds to stop it and back down which they obeyed.
I know I was in disadvantage and hence apologized to my sister, " I am sorry Innie, I didn't have any intentions of hurting you." which again resulted with no response from her side, which made me turn to Aiden and Ezikiel to try convincing them " Aiden and Ezikiel, I am sorry on behalf of my gaurds, I just want to talk to my sister personally, so please let me" and I didnot expect to receive a threat from Aiden "One step forward and your family will be coming here to collect your body filled with bullet holes" shocked I turned to face my sister expecting her to say something to help me but she responded " You heard him" which made me shocked and also realise she would not only do anything and everything to protect them but also let them do anything and everything as long as they are not hurting themselves in the process.
With that statement I know there is nothing I can do to stop them but I wanted to confirm one thing " Raine, one question. Do you know everything that happened in the time you were out for your work?" and she gave a reply which made me ashamed at the same time recognise that she was protecting the family else we would be in shambles now if this is how the Black family protects each other and my intuition tells my this is the tip of the ice and even the thought of hurting their family would result in deaths and one thing for sure is my intuition never being wrong.
Hence, I decided to store my energy to protect my family once we reach home because I know a war is brewing and we would be rotting in their basement if it doesnot go their way.
