Iris took Atlas to her house , " Welcome ... this is my beautiful house. Please come in ."
This beautiful girl gave him a pair of slippers to wear when coming inside .
Atlas took a quick glance all around himself . He muttered , ' It's huge and beautiful. '
Atlas was not very comfortable when it comes to huge houses or families . He is a boy who has lived his 6 years of life either in a park or on the streets.
Soon Iris shouted loudly to call her dad , " Daddy ! see who I brought . "
The little girl was full of excitement.
" Coming honey !" said her dad happily .
" You are on time . I even cooked you a good lunch." As Iris doesn't have a mother , all the household is carried out by her father , David Wright .
David came running to see his daughter but as soon as he saw someone besides her , the spoon he was holding slipped his hands and dropped on the floor. David was dumbfounded seeing Atlas in front of him .
He thought to himself , ' These eyes ..... these hairs .... this face .... these expressions ... I can't be wrong about you Atlas . '
Iris cling on her daddy's arm and asked , " Daddy , what's wrong ? "
David came back to his senses and panicked for a bit , "Huh ! ugh ... hi ... hi .. I am David . Iris's dad. Please, come in . "
After a close look David saw wet clothes on Atlas , " Oh no ! You are wet . Come I will help you to change."
Atlas was feeling happy . He agreed to obey David . Iris then comforted Atlas ," See , I told you my dad is the best ."
David smiled at Atlas as his own son and went to the bathroom to get him a new set of clothes.
Suddenly he remembered a few things in the past which came to his mind .
There was a man bleeding continuously and asking help from David .
The man was in pain and instructed David a few things . "David .... my bro ... This is it for me now .I am weak . I can't protect my family .
I disappointed my dad and you too. "
David , tears in his eyes looked at the man and said ," You are going to be fine . I am going to revive you . There's no way you are dying , not until your son sees you. "
The man nodded his head in disagreement," David , I don't want to die either. I want to have a family but my fate is corrupted . I need you to take care of my son like a father . I want you to teach him how to be a skillful vampire. This is an order from your 4th vampire lord. Make him understand the pain in this world , make him a responsible man. He is the only man left in the Colter clan . Make him realise the importance of the Colter clan . "
This was his last speech to David . He slightly started to close his eyes ," GOODBYE FRIEND ! "
David , leaning on the bathroom wall recalled those memories which were filled with pain . Soon Atlas approached him . "Sir ! You are crying ?"
"No dear , I think there's a dust particle ." It wasn't just dust particles , they were memories.
"Let's go and have lunch."
David looked at that pretty smile of Atlas and took him to the dining hall .
All of them were having breakfast.
The kids really enjoyed David's cooking . "Umm ... Yummy . Daddy is the best cook ." Iris complimented her dad's cooking skills .
But Atlas took teary , he wiped his eyes and said " It's really so yummy ."
" Hey , is it so good that you are crying ? " Iris got concerned .
" No ! This is the best food I ever had ." He got tears because the food was extremely delicious from what he gets to eat . Sometimes , he doesn't even get to eat anything.
David pat his head and said , " Silly child , you are most welcome whenever you want food. "
" By the way , where were you these 6 years ? " David became curious.
" I was in an orphanage . Later , when I knew the village people called me a cursed boy , I tried to hide wherever I found a place ."
"I have heard of this rumour too . Daddy , is it really true ? " Iris became interested too .
" There is nothing like monstrous . It's all linked to people's hearts . If they have a good heart , they won't call anyone cursed ." David has a point . Why were the villagers calling him a ' CURSED BOY ' ?
" See , I told you ... my daddy knows the best . But daddy can't he live with us ? " Iris gave a good idea though .
" He can ! " David agreed to his daughter's suggestion .
" Actually , it's a very good idea . I can see you whenever I want ."
Atlas didn't get what David was trying to say but he was happy to stay with his newly found friend and her father .
"Hurray ! I am happy . I can live here and have good food . Sir , I want to train too . You are an amazing and skilled Vampire . I want you to teach me all the Mantras of Seven World ."
David smiled at this silly boy and thought , ' You are indeed his child . '
"I will teach you both , the Mantras but first you need to grow up . Mantra is not possible when you are a child . It requires lots of potential."
Iris got hyped up too ," Dad , we are the vampires from SPRINGFIELD VILLAGE. We are better than any other vampire out there ."
Springfield village has vampires who don't suck blood which is an identification mark for Springfield citizens . While those vampires who suck blood are not from Springfield village.
Mantra is a cast spelled by powerful vampires to make them stronger . There are seven mantras
FIRE , WATER , WIND , SNOW , EARTH , DUST AND ROCK.

One night , Atlas was sitting outside and watching the moon . Iris approached him to have a good talk .
" Hey , Atlas ! " She smiled and called his name . Atlas heard her and turned around . As soon as , he turned around , Iris was taken aback . He suddenly panicked and got scared to see Atlas's eyes .
THEY BECAME DARK RED .
" Yo... You... Your .. eyes ..! " She shutter .
" They ... they become red ."
Atlas touched his eyes and know what it is . " Please don't be scared , it happens from time to time . Don't hate me for my eyes ... it's .. it's natural . "
This was not the first time Atlas saw his eye glowing . He don't know what was it but he was used to it now .
Iris chuckled , " Silly , I am not hating you . This is the first time I saw your eyes glow . By the way , they are beautiful ."
Atlas sighed ," I thought like others you would hate my eyes . "
Earlier people have mocked him for his red eyes .
Iris comforted him , " You are my friend and I don't break my friendship so easily . Let's promise to each other that we will be best friends for life . "
They both made a pinky promise to each other to cherish their friendship .
The red colour of Atlas's eyes shows that his powers are soon going to grow. A vampire's advantage is his eyes and a red eye is a representation of the Colter clan . Now that Atlas got a friend like Iris , this is the best start for him to make himself know this beautiful world and be powerful .
