If you were to put, hundreds maybe even thousands of sorcerers inside a single massive barrier, and force them to fight each other. What would happen? The answer is simple. The amount of curse energy spewing through the air would cause even the strongest buildings to tremble—ache in awe, before collapsing in on itself.
An uncountable number of debris rained down from the sky, as skyscraper after skyscraper collapsed. A dense dust cloud swept through the battlefield, stagnating in the air. It floated there until suddenly, the top of the dust cloud was pierced by three figures leaping into the air. Intense lightning engulfed Kashimo as he waved his hand hurling a bolt of lightning towards Maki and Mute.
The intense heat of the lighting scorched the air, as it soared past Mute narrowly missing. Mute eyes tracked the bolt before he spun throwing a powerful kick into Maki's side sending her crashing back down into the dust cloud.
" Not bad. I figure you're going to be one to battle Sukuna, correct? " Said Kashimo with trails of lighting pouring off his body, as he and Mute slowly fell out of the sky.
" Most likely. I planned on freeing Gojo...But looks, like that plan won't come to fruition. " Responded Mute, a confused look appeared on Kashimo's face as he spoke.
" Who's Gojo? "
" A sorcerer. The strongest one I've ever faced. " As soon as Mute said this, Kashimo's eyes began to glow a little, filled with excitement.
" So, is Sukuna not the grand prize? "
" If you mean in a fight...He most likely is. But, even though I don't like him. It would be completely biased if I didn't say, he doesn't have a chance to win. " Right when, Mute said this, both him and Kashimo's feet landed on the ground. In a flash, their feet blurred as they dashed to each other throwing a barrage of blows.
Kashimo spun his staff, gracefully swinging his staff, before Mute leaned back, narrowly ducking under the swing, Kashimo let out a soft scoff, as he slid his hand across his lightning-covered staff slamming it into the ground, before lifting himself off the ground while holding onto his staff, throwing a bicycle kick at Mute.
Kashimo's feet inched closer and closer, before abruptly, a massive pillar of dirt appeared between him and Mute causing, Kashimo's feet to plunge into the dirt pillar. Quickly, Kashimo yanked his feet out of the pillar...But it was too late, as a powerful punch slammed into Kashimo's temple causing his body to crash into the ground. Blood poured down the side of Kashimo's face. While Mute walked past Kashimo's body glaring down at him.
" If you don't mind me asking. What exactly is your plan? You know, you can't get through my curse technique. "
" I'm not sure myself. But I can't run away. I'm not a coward. " Said Kashimo slowly pushing off the ground, gingerly standing back up. It was clear to Kashimo, that Mute was only playing with him. This fight could have ended in the previous exchange, and yet, Mute didn't kill him.
Which was something, that Kashimo couldn't understand. Why wasn't Mute trying to kill him? Kashimo glared at Mute, until suddenly, Kashimo's eyes widened, as he glanced over Mute's shoulder seeing Maki glaring at the back of Mute. Her eyes were filled with rage, she bent her knees and was about to lunge at Mute... Until abruptly, Mute spoke.
" Well, would you look at that, Maki? " Mute looked to his left, staring at a group of sorcerers with a grin on his face. " Looks like our family has arrived. Quite a reunion don't you think? "
" Huh? You're related. " Said Kashimo with a stupid look on his face.
"Unfortunately we're. " Said Maki, walking towards Mute, who is now facing her. She always glanced at the group of sorcerers. If it wasn't obvious enough. The zenin clan has arrived or was already present in the barrier.
Which was something Mute found quite amusing, years ago, the Zenin Clan completely controlled him. And now, they aren't even important enough to look at. Mute eyes drifted back to Maki and Kashimo before he spoke.
" Well, let's get back to it-" Right when, Mute was about to finish his sentence, a sudden surge of freezing air swept through the barrier followed by an annoyed shout.
" You worthless piece of trash! Get back here! " Screamed out Uraume, sending a wave of ice towards Takaba, who playfully, lept from roof to roof, outrunning the ice, which froze every weak sorcerer caught in its way. Takaba let out a hearty laugh before he spun, turning the storming ice into a gentle pink flower pedals
The pedals drifted through the sky, gracefully swaying back and forth, following one of these pedals, which gently landed in a pool of blood. We appear next to a Hakari, who was glaring at the battle from afar until suddenly, he felt a piercing gaze on his body and glanced over to a man with an odd-looking hairstyle.
" Who the hell are you? " Asked Hakari.
" The name is Ryu. I thought I sensed something sweet. " A bewildered look covered Hakari's face as he watched Ryu slowly begin to walk towards him...
As this was happening on the other side of the battlefield, three figures could be seen standing next to each other. They were, Megumi, Yuji, and Angel. Blush covered Angel's face as the entity inside her was speaking to Megumi.
" Yes. We are looking for the fallen. "
" I don't have a clue who this fallen is. " Responded Megumi with a slightly annoyed look on his face. As soon as Megumi said this. Yuji's eyes widened slightly, his pupils dilated. And his vision was sucked into his soul...
