Crumble
The deafening roar of a collapsing skyscraper echoed through Shibuya, sending shockwaves of shattered glass through the air. Mute, heartlessly, descended from the sky, leaving Hakari staring up in annoyance. Blood gushed from Hakari's severed arms, a painful reminder of his grave mistake in underestimating Mute's craftiness.
Caught in this dangerous situation, Hakari found himself at a crossroads. Should he unleash his domain expansion, and relentlessly pressure Mute until he succumbed to exhaustion and met his demise? Or should he take a gamble, attempting to defeat Mute without relying on his domain? Usually, Hakari would use his domain but for some reason, he's hesitating. This reluctance to use his domain was caused by a conversation Hakari had with Yuta, just moments before his encounter with Mute...
Just moments before Hakari engaged in combat with Mute, Yuta tightly grasped Hakari's wrist outside of an abandoned building. Confusion filled Hakari's eyes as he glanced back at Yuta, who let out an exasperated sigh before explaining his actions.
"Wait, don't rush in," Yuta cautioned. "Sure, Mute may seem weak right now, but he's still dangerous. Someone of his caliber has likely already devised a plan to defeat you."
Hakari scoffed at the comment before responding, "He may be powerful, one of the strongest in Shibuya after Gojo and Sukuna. But he's clearly reaching his limit. Think about it, he's already battled you, Yuki, and that sorcerer. No matter how calculated he is, he won't be able to withstand my domain expansion."
"I understand that," Yuta replied, "but Yuki warned me about another ability that Mute possesses. Strangely enough, he hasn't used it yet."
As soon as Yuta mentioned this, confusion washed over Hakari's face, prompting Yuta to continue, "During the night parade of hundred demons, Mute was somehow able to transform his face into Geto's. And the air around him started glitching wildly. That's all Yuki knew about the ability."
Hakari nodded in understanding before he began to speak, "Well, there must be a reason he isn't-"
Before Hakari could finish his sentence, Shoko emerged from the building, sweat dripping down her face. Both Hakari and Yuta turned their attention to her as she delivered some news.
"I have some good news," Shoko announced, "Nanami has awakened from his coma. However, I doubt he'll be able to make it to Shibuya to support us."
"That's not surprising, considering his body is still weak," Yuta responded. "But listen, Hakari, don't use your domain expansion against Mute while he still has that hidden ability. If you can hold him off, with Shoko's help, I'll come to assist you." Yuta's voice carried a hint of worry as he spoke, emphasizing the importance of caution in their upcoming battle...
Back in the present, Nobara and Mahito stared up at the falling skyscraper in shock until suddenly the ground under their feet shattered and a massive mangled hand spewed out from the subway station underground. The sudden attack forced, Nobara to dash back. She came to a sliding stop before she watched as another Mahito leaped out from the ground, being chased by a hurried Yuji Itadori.
Yuji threw a punch at Mahito slamming his fist into Mahito's nose, sending him crashing into a light pole, Yuji took a deep breath, before he noticed the shadow engulfing his body and snapped his head up. Finally seeing the crashing skyscraper, until a high-pitched yell entered his ears making Yuji look over to the source of the yell.
" What are you doing Yuji? Hurry and run! " Shouted out Nobara, as she dashed back trying to outrun the falling skyscraper. Quickly, Yuji dashed toward the fleeing Nobara, he took several steps before the skyscraper crashed to the ground letting out a roaring bang. An enormous dust cloud stemmed from the skyscraper, this dust cloud loomed the area, as Yuji and Nobara stood next to each other both panting.
Yuji glanced over at Nobara until a sudden armless figure fell between them, coming to a sliding stop, this sudden figure caught Yuji and Nobara off guard. Hakari stood between them staring through the thick dust cloud, Hakari's mind was racing, remembering the conversation he had with Yuta.
Hakari was ashamed of being caught off guard by Mute like that. Even after Yuta had warned him not to be overconfident. So, to make up for this fact, Hakari will now follow Yuta's words completely not using his domain expansion until he is completely forced to.
The dust cloud stagnated, as Yuji spoke to Hakari asking him a question.
" So? Are you on our side? "...
