Blood flew wildly in the air as Mute glared back at Yuta holding his sword. The act of Mute and Yuta locking eyes made the air crackle as Megumi watched the two men glaring at each other with sweat pouring down his face. Megumi was several roofs away from Mute and Yuta yet the amount of cursed energy made his body tremble.
Megumi wiped the sweat off his face as he spoke to Yuji standing next to him.
" T-This is bad. I mean bad, bad. "
Yuji's hair blew wildly as he covered his eyes stopping dust from blowing into them. He glanced over at Megumi confused before Megumi spoke once again.
" Those two sorcerers are special grade. If we get caught up in their battle- "
Before Megumi finished his sentence he abruptly snapped his head up catching Yuji off guard who also glanced up before seeing Yuta and Mute floating above them. A powerful kick slammed into Mute's guard sending his body propelling back until he landed on a nearby roof several feet away from Yuta.
Mute glanced down at his side noticing that the wound inflicted on him by Yuta's katana was healing far slower than the wounds inflicted on him by the first-grade sorcerers. Mute stopped looking at his side instead he looked forward before leaning to the right narrowly dodging Yuta's blade.
Megumi stared at Yuta in shock at his speed before he abruptly shouted out to Yuji while hopping off the roof.
" Follow me, we need to run. "
Yuji quickly nodded his head, following him hopping into an alleyway. Megumi quickly sprinted through alleyways as the sound of Mute's and Yuta's battle loudly rippled out. Megumi slid over a wooden crate before he saw Todo's body lying on the ground barely conscious
Megumi pivoted and sprung towards Todo stopping next to him before crouching. Megumi observed Todo's condition before he looked back and spoke to Yuji.
" He's still alive but I doubt he's going to be able to fight."
Megumi pondered to himself before he spoke while standing up.
" Carry him and take him to Shoko. She's just north here hiding in a destroyed building. The other first-grade sorcerers are most likely there. "
Yuji nodded his head before grabbing onto Todo's wrist and wrapping his burly arm around his neck. Yuji started to sprint while carrying Todo before he glanced back at Megumi who was standing still looking towards the sound of Mute's and Yuta's battle.
A confused look appeared on Yuji's face as he spoke.
" What are you doing? Follow me Megumi? "
Megumi just shook his head before he spoke.
" Hurry up and run. You might not be able to do anything but I still have a card up my sleeve. Besides we don't want Sukuna to take over your body like last time. "...
Loud bangs rippled out as Mute and Yuta traded punches with each other, before a powerful punch connected with Yuta's jaw launching him through a building. Mute stared at the hole in the building with a pleased look on his face.
Yuta and Mute were still feeling each other out. In terms of brute power, Yuta has a slight advantage over Mute but Yuta's speed is nowhere near Mute's. However, when Yuta and Mute begin to use their techniques, the outcome of this battle will shift dramatically.
Mute watched as Yuta slowly walked towards him while wiping blood from his mouth. Yuta and Mute locked eyes before Yuta spoke.
" I think we're done feeling each other out. So, how about we get serious? "
Mute scoffed as he slowly walked towards Yuta. His slow walk turned into a sprint. Mute sprinted toward Yuta as Yuta raised his hand revealing a ring. A grin appeared on Yuta's face before he spoke.
" Give me it all Rika. "
Yuta's energy started to overflow from his body before he flickered reappearing directly in front of the charging Mute, thrusting his blade. Mute eyes widened before he shrunk the distance between himself and a nearby trash can, teleporting his body out of the way of Yuta's blade.
Yuta's body came to a sliding stop before he pivoted and dashed towards Mute. Yuta's footsteps rippled out loudly as he pointed his blade in front of him while Mute entered into a guard, however, before Yuta could reach Mute.
An abrupt figure appeared on a nearby rooftop...
