A massive cut appeared on Miwa's stomach as she stumbled back in agony before Mute slammed his foot into her chest launching her off the roof. Miwa fell to the ground with hazy eyes, until she flipped in the air and gently landed on her feet before collapsing on one knee.
She looked up at Mute barely conscious as her lips quivered. In that single exchange, Miwa felt her blade start to wobble, meaning only one thing. Her katana is about to shatter. Mute's swing might be rigid but with the rigidity comes raw strength.
Mute glares down at Miwa with a disappointed look until abruptly he looks to his left noticing something. Mute stares at figures approaching him as a chaotic grin appears on his face while a thunderous clap ripples out.
Miwa's eyes widened as her body was switched with Todo's who appeared glaring up at Mute. Mute locked eyes with Todo before he ducked dodging a swing from Nanami whose feet came to sliding feet on metal shingles.
Mute glanced left again before he smacked his lips noticing that Yaga had disappeared. Mute instantly knew that Yaga planned on overwhelming him with his cursed dolls from a distance. Nanami and Todo glared at Mute before he spoke in a calm voice.
" I heard that you got promoted to first grade recently. So, congratulations even if this will be the last mission you do. "
