" You died from being frightened, till the point your heart stopped. Tch, what a sad little reality you were. "
Mute lifts his foot off Kitla's chest before he walks over his corpse while yawning. Mute glances up at the sky gazing at the sun, which is starting to set. Mute looks forward and walks away from Kitla's corpse as a light breeze blows his dark hair in the wind.
Mute's footsteps ominously echo out, as he walks down a dirt path, heading towards a decently sized town. After several minutes of walking Mute can now be seen walking on a sidewalk heading towards a cafe.
Mute walks towards two glass doors before they suddenly open and a young woman with a blonde woman bumps into Mute's large frame. The woman stumbles to the side from the sudden collision before she regains her balance and looks at Mute irritated until she shouts out.
" Hey, watch where you're g-going- "
Before the woman could finish her sentence, her blue eyes locked onto Mute's forearm, the white hoodie Mute is wearing is stained with Kitla's blood. Mute scoffed watching as the woman's legs began to shake from fear, Mute grinned evilly before speaking to her.
" Would you believe me if I said this blood was from a nosebleed? "
The woman instantly started to nod her head before she spoke in a shaky voice.
" Y-Yea of course I do. "
The grin on Mute's face grew wider as he shooed the woman away, making her sprint away fearing for her life. Mute watched the woman flee before he turned around and walked into the cafe while grabbing onto his hoodie and pulling it off, revealing a plain black t-shirt.
Mute threw his hoodie over his shoulder, while he walked past a crowd of people waiting in line, getting ready to order food before he found a seat in the cafe, sitting on a wooden chair.
Mute placed his elbows on a wooden table in front of him before he stared at the entrance of the cafe waiting patiently, before Mute's battle with Kitla. Mute had received a message from Kenjaku asking him to meet in this cafe.
Mute agreed to the meeting mainly because he didn't have anything else to do, and he was interested in what Kenjaku could possibly want.
Countless minutes passed until at the glass doors of the cafe, a loud childish laugh could be heard. Mute stared at the entrance confused watching a cursed spirit with stitches lining his body walk into the store. The spirit took a few steps into the cafe before he snapped his head over at Mute. Mute locked eyes with the spirit before the spirit grinned wildly.
Mute stared at the spirit's grin before he stood up from his chair, and shrunk the distance between him and the spirit appearing directly in front of him.
" Who the hell are you? "
The customers in the cafe snapped their heads towards Mute with perplexed looks on their faces after seeing Mute suddenly appear. The customers continued to glare at Mute as the spirit in front of Mute spoke in a childlike voice.
" My name is Mahito. Geto should have told you about the meeting being held here. The others should arrive here in a few minutes, but it looks like you and I are the first ones here. So, how about fighting each other until the others arrive? You are a special grade correct? "
Mute glared at Mahito pondering to himself, thinking about the prospect of them fighting each other but before Mute could answer Mahito's question, a voice spoke catching Mahito's and Mute's attention.
" No, there's no need to fight each other but I must apologize for the bad first impression of this group, Mute."
Said Kenjaku shaking his head with three figures behind him. Mute stares at the figures behind Kenjaku before abruptly the space around him morphs, and Mute is transported to a peaceful beach.
Mute looks around the beach confused, as the screams of the customers can be heard from them being swallowed by an odd cursed spirit. Mute looks at Kenjaku before asking him a question.
" This beach is part of a domain expansion correct? "
Kenjaku nods his head before responding to Mute.
" Correct, I figure we would need a more peaceful place to speak to each other Mute. But the odd bunch behind me are known as the disaster curses."...
