Chapter 66 - Chapter 66: Drunk

" Hey, are you a Zenin by chance? "

Said Mute staring down at the kid. The child looked at Mute confused before shaking his head. The child looked down staring at the floor avoiding eye contact, before he spoke while looking at the snow-covered ground.

" I'm a Fushiguro not a Zenin. "

The child Mute was talking to was Megumi Fushiguro. He had just recently gotten out of school before being confronted by a drunken Mute. Mute stared at Megumi before noticing a bruise on the left side of his face.

" Who gave you that bruise on your face? "

Said Mute with a flushed face.

" Just a couple of high school students. They keep trying to fight me, even though they haven't won once. "

Said Megumi with an annoyed look on his face. Megumi stared at the snow before he heard a chuckle and Mute speak.

" I would be mad too if I kept losing to a middle schooler, but if they're bothering you so much, why don't you just kill them and get it over with? "

Megumi looked up at Mute with a bewildered look on his face. Mute looked down at Megumi with a drunken grin. Mute was clearly not thinking with his head. Megumi quickly responded to Mute.

" Umm, I think you need to lay off the drinks. I can't just kill them because I dislike them- "

Before Megumi could finish his sentence, the sound of snickering and footsteps entered his ears. Megumi looked over before seeing a group of eight teenage boys walking towards him with chaotic grins on their faces. All of them stopped in unison, standing in front of a white brick wall before one of them cockily spoke to Megumi.

" The teachers aren't here to save you this time, and you drunken bastard, if you leave, we won't mess with you. "

Mute stared at a teenage boy pointing at him. Mute grinned at the kid before he stretched out his fingers and started to twitch his index finger. Mute glanced down at Megumi before speaking.

" Let me show you how easy your problems can be solved, Fushiguro "

The group of teenagers looked at Mute like he was insane until a slash suddenly slammed into the brick wall behind them, cutting out a large piece of brick. Before the teenagers could reach in unison their heads were cleanly sliced off. Blood spewed out into the air, raining on top of Megumi and Mute covering their clothes in blood.

Mute looks down at Megumi before speaking.

" See? It wasn't that difficult to get rid of them. But just a piece of advice I would hurry and leave before the police come here. But have a good day Fushiguro. "

Mute said before rubbing a shocked Megumi's hair, Mute slowly walked away, as Megumi stood motionless staring at the bodies, Megumi kept staring at them until the advice Mute gave him went into his mind, and he quickly ran away...

An hour after Megumi met Mute, he could be seen. In Jujutsu High talking to Utahime, who had a worried look on her face as she spoke to Megumi.

" Why do you have so much blood on you? Did you get into another fight Megumi? "

Megumi just shook his head before talking.

" No, I got this blood on me after a man I met in an alleyway killed the group of high schoolers who were trying to bully me. "

The worried look on Utahime's face quickly turned confused as she spoke again.

" Huh? W-Who killed the high schoolers? "

Megumi quickly responded.

" I dunno, he was a drunk dude with black hair wearing a hoodie. He asked me if I was Zenin before he lectured me about killing the bullies and shortly after he actually killed them. I couldn't really see his face, but every time I tried to look at him, a sudden chill went through my body. But I did see him use a string to kill the high schoolers. "

Utahime stared at Megumi in shock. She knew who Megumi had just spoken to. Sweat rolled down her face as Megumi stared at her with a perplexed look. Utahime coughed before murmuring under her breath.

" Well, it's good to know that he won't kill sorcerers for no reason. I guess he's like Geto, killing humans for zero reason. I have to tell Gojo about Megumi meeting Mute. "...
