It was dawn, and the sun had just begun to peek above the horizon.

All was quiet; the battlefield, which moments ago had resounded with cannon fire, had suddenly become eerily silent.

Li Jinfang silently drew his bayonet from his waist and then fixed it onto the bayonet mount at the muzzle of his gun before he disengaged the safety.

But the silence was quickly shattered by explosions that erupted from the urban area to the east of the airport. When the people there encountered an attack, they had no choice but to start defending themselves.

Gao Yang pulled Fly over and whispered in his ear, "Go down and tell everyone to keep quiet, don't fire any shots. Be as gentle as possible, the stairs are quite noisy."

Fly went down, and then Gao Yang scratched his head and said softly, "Are we surrounded? I don't think so. If we aren't surrounded, should we retreat?"
