If it weren't for the threat of the Serpent People, even the longest journey would simply be a matter of time.
Pakistan had sent about two hundred people and a total of sixteen vehicles to escort Gao Yuan and his team. They were to handle any danger, any danger at all, so Gao Yuan and his team didn't have to lift a finger.
The convoy first arrived in Altabad, where they replenished their supplies. Continuing onwards would take them to the most densely populated regions of Pakistan. Previously, densely populated areas also meant a large number of zombies, so the convoy did not travel along the prosperous Indus River basin but instead turned west, entering the semi-desert regions of western Pakistan.
Battles occurred along the way, mainly against the threat of zombies. However, when the military escort reached a certain size, the threat of sporadic zombies could essentially be ignored.
