"You don't seem to understand something here," Allen said with a sigh.
"What is it that I don't understand?" Ryan asked him with a slight confusion on his face.
"My ability may seem to be the real deal but it's not because I can't frequently use it whenever I want. Now that I used it, I won't be able to use it until after twenty-four hours," Allen explained with a frown face.
"Now I understand how it works. So are you saying—?"
"Exactly. You will be the one to protect us should in case we get ambushed again in less than twenty-four hours," Allen said, finishing the statement for Ryan.
"That's a hassle for sure," Ryan mumbled with a dropped shoulder. He gazed down at his body, the injuries were almost healed up. "Don't worry, I don't mind," he said to Allen.
"Thank you," Allen replied with a bow.
