A man whose name was Jatin. He was working on the same ship for three years. One day Jatin got drunk in the night. This happened for the first time. The captain recorded the incident in the register, "Jatin was intoxicated tonight."
Jatin read this thing. Jatin knew that this one thing would have a very bad effect on his job. So he went to the Captain, and then apologized and told the Captain to add to whatever he had written that this happened for the first time in three years, because this is the whole truth.
The captain refused and said, "Whatever I have written in the register is true."
After a few days it was Jatin's turn to write in the register. Then he wrote in the register - "The captain has not drunk alcohol tonight." Captain read it and told Jatin to either change it or write something else to write the whole thing, because what was written showed that Captain used to drink alcohol every night. Jatin told the Captain that whatever he had written in the register was true.
Both the things are true, but the message received from both is like a lie.
