Hearing that Chairman J wanted the woman that insulted him before leaving his company to head the project, Kim Ji-hun was in pain.
At first, when he heard it, he became so lost in thought that he didn't know when the elevator doors closed.
How did he even manage to make it back to his office? He couldn't even tell.
Currently, all that was on his mind, was how damned his life was.
With Chairman J of J Group gone, all the font he was putting up fell like broken bricks.
As there was no one in front of him now, all his pride was gone.
He needed this huge project so badly as it would help to project Dream Axis more out there and Intentionally.
This was how important it was for him.
"Just why should he ask for Oh Ji Soo!" Slamming his fists on his desk with gritted teeth, Kim Ji-hun was on the verge of losing his mind.
What choice would he make?
Can he afford to forfeit this project because his pride won't let him ask Oh Ji-Soo back into the office, or would he throw his pride away and go all the way to do anything to ensure the project officially belongs to Dream Axis?
With Kim Ji-hun engaged in a battle of thoughts, he couldn't get any major work done for that day.
As for Oh Ji-Soo who was the subject of his worry, she was busy gathering her stuff in her travel luggage while repeatedly rejecting her parent's calls.
At a point when it became unbearable, she proceeded to turn off her phone just so she could have some peace while finishing up with her packing.

Towards the close of work, Vice-president Jang picked up his workbag and left for the International airport in the City.
Getting off his car at the airport, he checked the time on his wristwatch before proceeding to walk into the building.
Some minutes after waiting, a young lady in a lilac-coloured short dress made an appearance from the arrival section with two pieces of luggage in her hands.
Over her eyes was a cat-shaped sunglass and on her ears were a pair of long pearl earrings.
As soon as she saw the familiar-looking man standing far ahead, the corners of her lips curled and immediately, she started sprinting over.
"Dad!"
Recognizing the voice of his daughter, Jang Deok-Hwa followed the sound and looked ahead of him, and that was when he noticed the tiny female figure sprinting over while rolling the luggage in her hands.
Seeing his daughter, he immediately left where he was sitting to walk over as a smile that reached his eyes spread across his face.
"Ma-Ri," he called fondly as he quickly approached her. Reaching her side, he received her hug endearingly.
"Dad, I missed you!" Jang Ma-Ri said as she wrapped her hands around her father a little more tightly.
"I missed you too."
Releasing her from the hug, Jang Deok-Hwa took one of her luggage in his hand.
Looking at her father who seemed to have aged more since she last saw him, Jang Ma-Ri couldn't help but comment.
"Dad, you seem to have aged more since I last saw you. Did you miss that much that you forgot to take care of yourself?"
"You are thinking too much." Vice-President Jang replied with a smile as he led them ahead.
Shifting her gaze ahead, Jang Ma-Ri's eyes moved about as her brows moved downwards.
"Dad, did you come alone?"
As this was her first time in the City in 3 years, she was expecting to see an entourage coming to pick her up.
But if an entourage will draw too much attention which her father did not like, at least he would have come with one or two people.
Where was everybody?
Smiling to himself, Jang Deok-Hwa nodded. "Mmm… I came alone. Don't you like it?"
"Dad, don't tell me this is how you have been living your life since I left. If you move about like this, people are not going to accord you any respect."
"I don't need anyone to notice me."
"What?"
Jang Ma-Ri looked shocked by her father's personality as she stopped in her steps.
This wasn't what she signed up for on returning to country SK.
Seeing that she had stopped in her steps and was looking at him strangely, he stopped as well and turned to meet her gaze.
"Why did you stop? Are you not eager to go home with me?"
Hearing that, she let out a soft sigh before continuing in her steps.
'Well, I'm back to put things in place.'
Making that mental note, she joined her father to work at the same pace.
Finally sitting in the front passenger seat after helping to load her things into the trunk of her father's car, she took off her glasses to reveal her entire face.
Jang Ma-Ri was a beauty but when compared with Oh Ji-Soo, she lost.
Oh Ji-Soo had always been a natural beauty since she was born and till now, it was still clear to her.
As for Jang Ma-Ri who looked like she got some work done on her face, she wasn't all natural besides even when compared to her now, she would still lose because Ji-Soo was prettier.
Throughout the ride back home, Jang Ma-Ri was chatty.
This was her first time seeing her father in 3 years and besides, she was back in the familiar city where she grew up, she was bound to have so many things she wanted to talk about.

After almost half an hour's ride due to the heavy traffic on the road, the father and daughter finally arrived at their comfortable villa.
As soon as the car drove into the residence, two servants in uniform immediately stepped out to do their job, causing Jang Ma-Ri to smile at last.
'Thankfully Dad did not fire the employees at home.'

Hearing from Jang Deok-Hwa that his daughter whom she had been looking forward to was home, Kim Chae-Yeon was so overjoyed.
"I will not disturb you further as you father and daughter must have a lot to catch up on. Extend my greetings to Ma-Ri."
