Fritz's room was filled by the incessant sound of munching and crunching as the dwarf seating opposite him continuously wolfed down the food on the table. A pile of empty plates rested to the dwarfs left as the number of plates filled with meals on the table decreased and to his right a pair of wooden jugs filled with rum.
The dwarf enjoyed the finest cuisine of all kinds of meat, some fried, boiled and some roasted turning out succulent, tender and juicy. Their delicate aromas capable of drawing salivators desires from any who caught a waft of them.
BURRP!
The dwarf, Gindal let out a satisfied burp after emptying the two wooden jars of rum, he rested his back against the chair as he shamelessly rubbed his full stomach. For the first time since waking up to a table full of food he made eye contact with Fritz.
Calmly, "Hello, my name is Fritz. Pleased to make your acquaintance."
"…"
Fritz smiled slightly and wasn't fazed a bit by Gindal's silence as within his eyes Fritz saw them flash with a hint of vigilance and apprehension.
Fritz continued, "Don't worry I mean you no harm as I am rather interested in you. You see, you have piqued my curiosity thus the reason why you see yourself here. I am interested to hear the story of a man hated, scorned and shunned by the world that even his own race known for its unity has turned their backs on. Therefore, forsaken one would you sate my curiosity."
"If you do not wish to share your story with me worry not as I shall treat all this as having performed an act of kindness. The door is right behind you."
Fritz's golden eyes stared deeply without blinking at Gandalf who felt a penetrative gaze bore at him threatening to unmask everything about him.
Gindal brow's raised before questioning, "Why? Why are you interested in a person like me? There is no way that it is merely curiosity because then you could have probably asked anyone about me in this city and have your curiosity quenched."
"It's those eyes, yes, those eyes of yours brimming with hatred and disgust towards yourself that drew me to you. Isn't it ironic that you who have being abused, chewed and spit out by the world instead of developing hatred against the world that hatred is rather directed towards yourself" stated Fritz.
Gindal's shoulders dropped and his lips quivered, "Aah fuck it. This isn't no secret anyway so I might as well tell you and repay your favour of helping me. My name is Gindal son of the Great Gandalf. My father was a man of renown skill as he was the first person ever to become a Divine Grade blacksmith in Gaia."
"My life growing up was filled with love and happiness but things changed ten years ago. One night a group of men came and attacked our residence killing my mother and kidnapping my father who even though was a Divine Grade blacksmith had no power to resist. It was through his continuous pleading that the group spared my life."
"But this was just the start of my nightmare, with my father gone I was adopted by my uncle who cared and provided for me as if I were his biological son. Everything that my father owned either it be money, companies and equipment he took control off with the promise that he was just managing them for me. How naïve I was, what I didn't know was that he had ulterior motives."
"When I turned seven years after undergoing awakening my talent turned out to be Legendary grade just like my father he was excited but the moment he learnt what it was, he didn't even hesitate as he turned his back against me, robbing me of all my father's wealth and to make things worse he started spreading rumours about me. He secretly spread rumours to the world about how the son of the Great Gandalf was a trash that cannot become a blacksmith nor atleast a dwarf warrior."
Fritz patiently listened to Gindal's story as he watched his face contort from anger in one moment to sadness in another second. Fritz knew that Dwarf's mostly awakened two types of talents, it was either a blacksmithing talent or a dwarf warrior type of talent so he couldn't help wonder just what kind of talent Gindal could have awakened to warrant such a type of treatment.
As if hearing Fritz's thoughts Gindal's blue status panel appeared in front of Fritz. Normally a person's status screen cannot be observed by other people unless that person made it visible to others.
Fritz observed Gindal's status screen as slowly his eyes brightened and a smile formed on his face. This smile to Gindal felt like an arrow that pierced his heart, it hurt him as even though he didn't put all his faith in Fritz but seeing him smile while looking at his status screen it pained him.
'There goes that mocking smile, what did I even expect he is just like them. What a joke a dwarf with a weaving talent' Gindal thought mockingly.
Contrary to Gindal's thoughts Fritz's were different.
'Haha I have struck rich'
'What a fool that old dwarf was, how foolish all these people are.'
'How can such a ground breaking talent be trash? Fuck, they are the trash!'
'Haha I have struck gold'
But what he didn't understand was that Fritz was smiling because he has found a diamond in the rough. An unpolished gem that was just waiting for him to polish as the moment it released its splendour it would shock the world.
Frit excitedly spoke, "Which fool told you that your talent was useless!? This talent of yours is amazing!"
Gindal was surprised by Fritz's reaction, every time he told someone what his talent was they would laugh and mock him. But finally he has met someone who believed in him, someone who saw something in him, finally someone who shared his thoughts.
'There are no useless talents rather useless people' inwardly recalled Gindal.
"I… I am-"
Knock! Knock!
Gindal was cut off by the sound of knocking on the door which was then followed by a sweet voice.
"Your Highness there are two groups of people waiting for you in the Meeting Hall saying that they are here to meet you."
Fritz swiftly launched from his chair making way towards the door as the people he had being waiting for had finally come and hopefully they come bearing good news.
"Gindal follow me!"
Fritz and Gindal headed to the Purple Moon hotels meeting hall under the lead of a beautiful woman.
…
Seven hours ago.
BOOM!
A massive explosion spread out as its power enveloped everything within a kilometre. The ground collapsed, billows of smoke and dust rose to the sky forming a mushroom like shape. It took quite a while for the smoke to clear out wherein at the center of the explosion laid the unconscious figure of a white haired male with golden ebony skin.
A silver dome that had being enveloping the area slowly crumbled, it was a Sealing Formation that locked space for anyone inside and isolating the events occurring inside from being visible to the outside. A sealing formation that was laid by the Queens Guards spearheaded by Dawn and Dusk to capture the ebony skin colored youth.
Both Dawn and Dusk appeared near his unconscious body as they poured a health potion on him and a Slumber Potion on him before proceeding to bind his body in black chains. The Slumber Potion was used to forcefully put an individual in an unconscious state whilst the black chains forcefully inhibited an awakener's ability to manipulate any kind of energy.
It was only after they had placed all these countermeasures in place that they breathed a sigh of relief as the past few days have being strenuous and exhausting for them. Upon receiving the order to capture the people that they had being assigned to look for, they had assumed that it would be an easy mission as most of their targets were just kids aged between 15 and 18.
But to their surprise these group of kids though all of them being at the peak of the Mortal Stage, rank A, they possessed tremendous powerful lifesaving and combat abilities leading them to greatly suffer at their hands which is greatly shown by the thirty deceased Queens Guards at the hands of this 'children'.
For example, this one, they had chased from the human Royal City to the borders of the Bataillen Continent before managing to lure him into a trap and sealing him inside a formation. After sealing him inside this formation a battle ensured as he unleashed a seal type treasure that summoned an extremely powerful remnant soul.
Though shocking and unbelievable for Heavenly Stage and two Saint Stage cultivators to suffer at the hands of mere Mortal Stage awakeners the group of Dawn and Dusk weren't embarrassed at all as they knew just what kind of monsters they had being tasked to seek and capture.
During this campaign a majority of the Queens Guards suffered life threatening injuries.
Dusk commanded, "This is the last one everyone so let's clear the battlefield immediately and head out to Iron Haul city. We will only rest and recover in the Flying Ship as we head to Iron Haul city."
