The MORTAL STAGE of cultivation is a step that every newly awakened has to take, this stage regarding the full nourishment of one's body with energy ultimately resulting in the birth of blood essence drops in their bodies. This can be easily done through the absorption of monster cores, blood essence orbs, special potions and other heavenly treasures.
This stage has four sub levels; D, C, B and A each divided from the other by the amount of the blood essence drops that an individual has formed in their bodies.

[C= 1001-3000 drops]
[B= 30001-6000 drops]
[A= 6001-10000 drops]
Of course this was just a universal standard which any talented newly awakened could easily surpass producing more blood essence drops making their foundations deeper and much firmer till they reach their limit.
The blood essence formed by different individuals differ in quality depending on the amount of stars floating above their BLOOD SEA. From the lowest quality blood essence to the highest quality blood essence the grade starts from 1-9 stars.
Also the amount of stars floating above one's blood sea depicts how much stronger they would be compared to those of the same level.
These stars were also of utmost importance when breaking through to the Vital Stage of cultivation.
Currently Fritz sat crossed legged in a lotus position holding in his hands a hundred red orbs each the size a quail egg, they were flawless blood essence orbs. Whilst holding them in his hands he could feel the palpable longing his body had for them.
Fritz threw ten blood essence orb into his mouth which easily melted in his tongue releasing magnificent waves of powerful energy coursing inside his body. The energy surged from his head to his chest as it slowly made way towards both his arms and legs.
It coursed inside him nourishing each and every part of his body.
Feeling the coursing energy inside his body Fritz directly used the Imperial Sanguine Refinement method to control the refinement of his body and blood using this energy. Guiding the coursing energy in his body he circulated the energy continuously to every inch of his body.
"Aaahh!" Fritz moaned comfortably.
Sensing the energy flowing inside his body dwindling he consumed twenty at the same time as immense waves of energy flowed in his body and sensing that he could easily control the energy inside him easily he popped another twenty blood essence orbs.
A crashing wave of powerful energy assaulted his body but still he could easily control these waves of chaotic energy flowing in him. Feeling that he could take another fifty before reaching his limit he didn't waste time as he threw the remaining fifty blood essence orbs in his mouth.
Blinding lights of multi colored lights enveloped his whole body, a heavenly smell emanating from him making him look like an extremely valuable treasure.
Extremely potent waves of warm energy bloated his body threatening to blow up, with his circulation of the energy accordingly the violent energies became tame with each cycle of refinement. Guiding the energy towards his heart felt a wall blocking his path.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
With three attempts of his, the wall blocking the path towards his heart was destroyed as a brand new dimension space opened in his heart, the BLOOD SEA; space inside his heart were all the blood essence is stored.
Through the continuous refinement of his blood, a singular drop formed in his blood before it fell in the empty BLOOD SEA space in his heart. This drop of blood essence ushering in the lightning formation of blood essence drops.
It didn't even take a second before a second drop, a third and fourth blood essence drops were formed with the number increasing as time passed and the remaining blood essence orbs rapidly consumed till none was left
100 drops.
1000 drops.
12000 drops.
To top it all of inside Fritz's Blood Sea nine golden stars were floating serenely above his blood essence which is proof that Fritz has managed to produce the highest grade of blood essence. This would make him nine times more powerful than his peers or those at the same stage as him in the Mortal Stage.
With the last drop marking the twelfth thousand blood essence drop Fritz woke up from his cultivation, his rank now at the peak of rank A. He didn't even bother thinking about entering the next stage of cultivation as he felt that he hasn't yet reached his limit at this stage.
He could still prime his foundation at this stage as much as he could. From his mother's words his foundation was very important so he would truly take his time sculpting it to pristine heights.
His body was now much more strengthened and durable, when he balled his fist surges of powerful waves of energy coursed in his veins towards his fist.
Standing up, his body cracked and squeaked as a result of remaining still in a singular position for a long time and to Fritz's shock he had spent a week immersed in cultivation.

Didn't they say that cultivation was hard?
