"Meet me at dance studio No. 1 this afternoon at 4. Don't be late, and bring that guitar of yours."
Noah had never been more confused in his life. Not even when his parents kicked him out of the house for being gay, or when he found out that he actually wasn't useless (although he still believed he was quite useless and only a burden for others). No other person of the same age as him had ever talked to him like an equal. Usually the only times the other students talked to him was when they needed to borrow some money, or when they had to take some of their anger out of someone.

It was 3:48 and Noah had no idea why he decided to show up. After walking up the 2 flight of stairs to get to dance studio 1 (which who would of thought that it was actually a private studio) he reached the door. Peeking his head through the opened door, Noah was met by the sight of angel spinning so gracefully around the mirrored room, classical music wafting through the speakers at his feet.
Nervously, Noah walked in, taking his his blue ragged sneakers, and dodging a kick that flew in his direction.
"Aah", screamed Noah.
"That was adorable!" Raven laughed walking to the locker room to put away his flats.
Noah followed. "What the heck was that Raven? (which he only found out by looking at his yearbook 10 minutes before he decided to come) I come with the rudest invitation and now you want to kick me? What do you actually want?" Noah weakly says.
Raven walks right into Noah's face and retreats. " All I need is for you to perform with me at the end of year concert." Taking his water bottle, Raven takes a sip and stares intently at Noah.
