Perseus POV
"Damn, what's a cold morning."
But as I got up Ruka pulled me back down and mumbled something about warmth. I broke off from her to check on the kids, and it seemed like a few woke up and were asking for something warm to eat.
Buddy doesn't even usually realize that burst of cold air anymore as it's winter time, and it's something the house is used to by now, even the kids, but this is cold, even by my standards.
I then called on Mark to solve this, and he replied that he was trying, but Terrence's powers went wild and it's hard to contain the thing, so we're going to have a few days of coldness. It was the first time where I had to turn on the heaters.
"Sorry to make you cook gramps, I can help."
"Nah, that's fine, I'll do anything for these lot." he replied, "I got hot chocolate, want some?"
"Sure."

"Grandpa, breakfast is delicious!" jazz exclaimed
"Of course, I put in more effort, just for you all." Grandpa Laker replied
Gramps told the kids to just call him grandpa or any other nickname because it'll be more comfortable and they've been calling him that since, and they'll switch to cuter ones when Jerah's here.
"Don't give me that look." Grandpa said as he caught me staring at the strange sight
"No, it's a strange sight." Vince chimed in
Yeah, my brother just wanders into my house whenever he wants and this is just one of those times. Like, don't look at me, this is the epilogue, we're not going to get too detailed. He's basically having free breakfast, though it's not bad, the kids like his dog.
But they do have slight favoritism for my fox despite seeing him almost every hour of their lives, so they usually ask for him a lot, and Buddy was more than happy to.
"Yeah, you're usually grumpy when it's with us, you don't smile this much."
"Yeah, don't look too offended, we like the sight." Vince added
"You 2 are too alike sometimes." Grandpa grumbled
"There's the face." Vince nodded
"You wanna die?"
"You're threatening your youngest grandson?"
"I've thrown your brother to the wolves, and I can do the same for you."
"Isn't that...ungrandpa-like?"
