Ursula did not know if the situation they were in was a curse or a boon. If they could make use of this opportunity effectively, it may become a breaking point for them.
They may have some talent but in the end the facts remain the same, they had some talent. If they could do something, then it was very well welcomed.
Ursula moved behind Luicia and whispered in her ear, "Give him all you got before he..."
Hearing this, Luicia cracked her knuckles, but she remained confused why she had to engage in melee and not Gizel. She was already on cloud nine after seeing the appreciative gazes of others that she thought 'they finally believe I am the strongest!'
At that moment Ursula knew she had messed up. Ursula's head hurt every time she saw Luicia not using her head. She didn't take into consideration the fact that she was talking to none other than Luicia. And before she could correct herself, she had already sprinted towards the strange man. She didn't even have a chance to explain the situation.
It seemed strange that he kept looking at Luicia with curiosity but remained unfazed by the oncoming attack.
"You idiot! Give him your..." Before Ursula could finish her words, she saw Luicia's fist passing through the strange man.
Luicia did not have enough strength to punch through anyone, not even a normal human let alone this strange old odd man. However, what they did not expect was Luicia's fist to pass through him.
From what happened to this point and seeing Luicia pass through the strange man's body, the word 'Concept' came into everyone's mind.
What is a concept? An idea or understanding of something. Something that is only possible in an ideal situation if not experimented with and worked upon. And now, in front of them someone has used a concept without any external help!
Though they did not know what a concept was, they had read what was what and knew what it meant.
If one takes the example of fire, fire is just heat and light which is the result of the conversion of wood to ash. But what if fire just keeps burning forever, but not because it is the byproduct of some process? Then it becomes a concept that is impossible in its own right but possible under ideal conditions which in turn are impossible to exist.
But what if one's control reaches such an extent that they can create such ideal conditions?
As if the strange oddity had read their minds, he laughed and said, "Of course this is a 'concept' but not her passing through me but my very existence... Ordinary people's dreams, fears, sense of righteousness, ego and reluctance were what gave birth to me. However, after living for so many centuries, I grew and became something more and... I was finally shackled..."
But this time, unlike previous times, this time when the oddity spoke, he had a serene blue tone to his eyes. After saying his piece, he took out a notebook and flipped to the last page. There he found the final line consisting of the words, 'seeing through bird's eyes' and crossed it. As soon as he crossed the last word, the diary became illusory and slowly vanished.
"I could have lived and fulfilled people's wishes as long as people gave what was asked for but this notebook was a shackle to me... Now that it's finally completed I too will soon disappear into oblivion... But not before fulfilling your wish. Remember my words! Whenever my eyes turn red, I will ask for your most valuable item, and you will ask for something in return. It does not need to be limited to a specific item or knowledge. Anything can be exchanged, even control over something vague for you, like a concept."
Slowly, the oddity's eyes turned crimson from the serene blue and looked at Luicia and said with a rustic voice, "Give me your pill..."
Everyone heard the request and felt confused. 'What pill?' But Luicia was not confused, and she immediately called Bony Bird.
The pill that Oddity was talking about was a Grade-1 Adept resource used for healing injuries. Originally, Luicia hid it in her clothes, but later placed it inside Bony Bird. She hoped Bony Bird would feed her in situations where she could not feed herself.
Luicia took out the pill and handed it to the oddity. When Ursula saw Luicia handing the pill over to the oddity, she was more nervous than anyone around her. Not because the oddity would do something to her or others but instead of asking something appropriate she would ask something inappropriate and get them killed. She had complete faith in her idiocy.
"Can you let Mr. Concept live? He looked like he didn't want to die..." But it seemed that Ursula's faith in her was not completely unfounded. 'She has a kind heart...', Ursula said in her heart.
But it looked like Ursula said her words a few seconds sooner, "... If he wants a body to live in, he can take Bony Bird's body! Hehe, I always wanted a talking bird!"
When they heard Luicia, their faces twitched violently. The girl's expression changed too fast!

Today, everyone has a certain understanding of Luicia. She was a nutcase. But this nutcase did her job effectively, and this fact made them even more helpless. Who knew what was going on in her head? She was told to catch a fish but she wanted ocean rights.
Hearing Luicia's wish the oddity nodded and raised his arm. He opened his palm as if it wanted to catch something and thrust it into his own body. Suddenly, his whole arm disappeared into his own body and when it began to emerge, it came out with an illusory goldenish humanoid. This illusory humanoid was holding onto white and blue spheres with all its might. The oddity tried to snatch the balls but was unsuccessful.
The oddity himself had started to fade away after taking out the strange human-like thing from its body. As the oddity started fading away, it also kept losing its strength, or it looked like he was losing his strength.
Seeing he was not making any progress, the oddity focused on the blue sphere and successfully snatched it while pushing the illusory humanoid into the Bony Bird.
The oddity nodded in satisfaction and slowly faded away into nothingness.
The Bony Bird, which was chirping happily just a moment earlier, lay motionless. It was happy to finally spit out the stone that had been burdening it for so long and before it could celebrate, it was struck unconscious. It had no idea what would happen to it in the future.
