Khaleel had to bid farewell to Yanarym after that long yet seemed to be a brief walk with her. She let go of his hand and smiled warmly at him as she waved goodbye.
"Thank you for today, Kal," she said. "Take care, see you later!"
Khaleel nodded, "Be safe, Rym."
His urge to follow her where she was going was resisted by the notion of wanting to respect her privacy. There were some things that people didn't want to tell or let other people see their lives in some way. He knew that he was somehow a stranger in her life who shouldn't be nosy about her activities. She was already giving him enough privilege to join her in her shopping in the black market.
Also, he himself could not yet tell her who he really was. How could he invade her identity without telling her?
"I'll be safe. Goodbye!" She walked away in the busy Street of Inez.
Like the last time, Khaleel watched her back fade in the crowd.
