In front of Sangruil's gates, the dead bodies of Christopher's warriors and the Light Queen's Angels were flying together around the battlefield like the leaves in the wind.
Explosions tearing up the terrain under the blood-red moonlight, flames burning the black grass around the Sangruil kingdom, and the dead bodies lying there were forming a deadly piece of art.
~An Art of War between the "Monsters of Darkness" and "Knights of Light"!
While Christopher's most experienced generals, Ariane, Melissa, Frederic, and Merener, dressed in battle armor, were standing on the walls that were protecting the castle, the warriors down there were dying for their Lord.
The castle itself already had a few holes in its facade and new ones were constantly appearing.
"My darling is not going to be happy when he sees this kind of damage done to our home," Melissa spoke with a dangerous gleam in her eyes as another big ball of flames passed above her.
Passing her and the other generals, the ball hit the castle's wall and formed another hole in the facade.
Flames started emerging from the hole and the library's windows, explosions were demolishing its interier, and this entire spectacle of physical and psychical harm was mixed together with feminine screams of despair echoing around the kingdom.
Seeing the Archangels covering the entire place in deep terror and helplessness, Ariane turned her face towards the machine making this damage and anger take place on her face.
Forming a ball of purple power with her hands above her, resembling the same measures as the ball that hit her darling's castle just a few seconds ago, she threw the ball at the machine, destroying it with ease.
"This is not the right time to think about such things, Lady Melissa. We need to focus on the fight and protect our people."
These words were spoken by Merener while, together with Frederic, he was commanding the hordes of Christopher's trusted warriors.
The soldiers were fighting in front of the kingdom on a big, burning field on which the bloody moonlight of Sangruil's moon was falling.
"I know but still, he's not going to be happy. I have a feeling that a large amount of Angels will disappear today from the face of Aragos, hahaha~."
Melissa chuckled and held her cheeks at the imagination of her darling murdering the Angels.
She almost looked like a certain pink-haired character from an Anime that was deeply in love with one boy.
'Yep, they're crazy... All of them...' thought Frederic when he saw the expression on Melissa's face as he returned to command his Werewolves.
But somehow... he felt the expression being quite seductive.
'What am I thinking?! ' Frederic thought.
'They're a bunch of masochists ready to kill everyone for their love... So why do I feel drawn toward them? '
Yep, Frederic had a dilemma in his head right now.
...
In the distance, on a high black hill exactly opposite the castle that was burning in flames, four Archangels were standing.
The Archangels were the Light Queen's highest Generals and came here to command their legions of Angels in this large-scale battle which emerged when Merener and others returned.
Before that, the Archangels with their legions of Angels had a clear passageway toward the Castle.
Therefore, they thought they could attack head-on without taking almost no casualties.
Sangruil's Lord was with his Generals and Brides away, so the main General thought this would be an easy task.
But the truth he bet on so hardly turned out to be a false feeling, when not even an hour passed since they came to attack Sangruil and the Lord's Generals were already there.
They suddenly appeared out of nowhere with an Army that should have been on the Archangel's side.
'Vampires and their damn sense of pride! ' thought the main Archangel as he watched the battle in front of him.
The Angels were fighting fiercely against all types of monsters and warriors Christopher's generals were sending at them.
Vampires and Vampire knights that came from the village. Werewolves and Arachne spiders.
Even the previously Light knights from Royal Capital now Dark knights of Sangruil that joined him were also fighting together with Tonny and Alex at the front against the Angels.
The Angels had a hard time handling all these hordes of different enemies attacking them like one.
'How many monsters does that man have?! ' the main Archangel thought as his gaze fell upon Merener, a man he knew very well from the past.
"Michael this is just a suicide! " one of the Archangels shouted, pulling out the main General, Michael out of his thoughts.
"What did you say? " Michael asked, his gaze sharp and fierce, aimed at the Archangel who spoke the words.
"We need to leave now before the Lord returns! If we continue, we'll die, don't you see? " asked one of the Archangels as the others joined him with visible fear filling their hearts.
Something was telling them they were going to regret what they did here tonight.
"Yes, Morelay is right! This should have lasted only a few minutes as a reminder for the new Lord to not meddle in the affairs of our Queen, Michael! Not two hours..."
"Yeah, we already lost almost half of our people! " spoke the third one, then added:
"By doing this large-scale attack, you are beginning a war with an unknown and dangerous faction! I need to report this to the-" one of the Archangels spoke but got interrupted by Michael.
"Shut the fuck up Aralan! What do you think will happen when that boy shows up huh? "
"..."
"Yes... nothing, because he will never appear again! Amanel will take care of him! And if he, by some unholy miracle, appears, I will just kick his ass and continue to clear this place for the great Light majesty of Arag-" Michael said, but before the Archangel can end his sentence completely, the entire area falls into deep dark killing intent.
Everyone stopped fighting as their gazes instinctively shifted toward a presence levitating in the sky.
"Fuck, I told you! Hah, now he's back..." cursed Morelay unconsciously as his and the three Archangels's gazes shifted towards the sky where the enormous killing intent was coming from.
Soon, they saw a man in a black aristocratic outfit with an expressionless face.
His clothes reminded everyone of the Era of Goth, mainly the crimson red details around his chest forming a bat, while those around his wrists, and neck were forming red lines.
Behind him stood four women with incredible beauty surrounded by shadows leaving their bodies.
They resembled evil ghosts and were all dressed in similar but at the same time different black dresses with crimson-red decorations too.
Their glowing purple eyes were watching the entire battlefield with anger and madness as if awaiting something to happen while their hair was levitating around as if alive.
A few seconds later, their gazes simultaneously shifted at the four Archangels and only indifference, disgust, and anger can be seen on their perfect faces.
Little did their gazes hurt the four Archangels' egos as they would do to every other male. Four 10s or five-star beauties looking at you like you are a dog shit is pretty painful.
"We should go-" one of the Archangels said but Morelay interrupted him, saying "Too late my friend, we are already screwed now..."
When the Archangel said that, Christopher looked slowly at his castle enveloped in flames and narrowed his eyes in anger!
As his gaze zoomed in, the image flew through the broken windows and entered Sangruil's library enveloped in flames.
Seeing his precious books burning, the Archangels' eyes visibly flinched in unison because the killing intent and deadly aura descending on them visibly doubled, pushing them down on their knees.
Taking a deep breath, the same rune on his chest formed upon Christopher's left hand, and with a snap of his fingers, the entire castle was covered in purple light.
Moving the palm of his left hand to the left, the damage on the castle started disappearing as if time was returning back.
Everyone's speculations turned out to be true when countless flaming balls started being forcefully pulled out from the Castle's walls and thrown back toward the place from where they came while the damage taken by the Castle started being repaired.
'Aaaand, done~,' Christopher thought as the purple light died and revealed the Sangruil's Castle intact.
"Bullshit..." Morelay cursed again when he saw the structure being completely fine.
"Language..." Michael unconsciously whispered.
"LANGUAGE?! Fuck your language, Michael! We are going to die and you care about a fucking language?! "
"Yes..." Michael replied, still in a trance from what he just saw, and from understanding that the man in the clouds was not so casual as he thought he was...
"Unbelievable..." Morelay replied with a facepalmed expression.
...
Turning his face back at the Archangels, a big mad smile formed on his face as Lilith's flames emerged from the palm of his hands followed by the liquid shadows, revealing a shabby textbook.
"The book of creation?! HOW?! " Michael shouted with sweat running down his forehead when he saw the tool in Christopher's hand.
'Let's see~' Christopher spoke in his mind while he started casually browsing through the pages of the textbook as if it were his notebook from Math.
But after around ten pages, the textbook continued with only blank ones.
The last sentence: "I'm sorry Christopher, the balance is needed. You'll understand later..."
' Hmm... What kind of scam is this...' he thought, reading the sentence from his future self but did not show the surprise on his face.
'Hah, fine Chris. Let's stick with what I've got then... for now...'
Browsing back to the creatures, he ended up on a page with a well-known monster many humans fear to this day.
All this time, from the second the textbook appeared in Christopher's hands, the battlefield was silent, no one made the slightest sound nor did the smallest move.
No one wanted to disturb the monster that suddenly appeared in the sky and pay for it by turning into something bizarre.
Reading what should he do calmly while being silent like he was in his library, Christopher suddenly closed the textbook and made it disappear.
Immediately, all the angels started sweating heavily...
*Ahm* Christopher coughs to clear his throat.
"Which one of you is the scumbag who destroyed my castle? " he asked with a calm voice, very different from what everyone expected.
"..." Still, no one answered...
"Silence? No one knows who, huh? Are you all deaf or somethin'? " Christopher smiled as again, dead silence followed his words.
"Well, then you all need to die. Hail Archangels of the Light Queen, you'll become the witnesses of my first Creation... and your Doomsday at the same time. You're all quite lucky to witness two big events in one day," Christopher suddenly spoke up as he lowered the heavy atmosphere, letting the Archangels stand up again.
"What? Does anyone remember what he said, ugh? The Aura was so heavy... that my ears stopped working... " The Archangels wondered what was happening until Christopher spoke his next words.
"All I need is a volunteer..." Christopher whispered as his gaze fell upon the random angel who was slowly trying to leave the battlefield.
Feeling Christopher's gaze, the Angel gulped: "Fuck..."
With a wide smile, Christopher raised his hand, and using his telekinetic powers, he pulled the Angel toward the clouds.
"No, leave me alone you MONSTER! " the Angel started shouting only to feel his mouth being forcefully shut right after.
...
Meanwhile...
Frederic and Merener stood silently next to each other while watching the Angel flying toward Christopher.
"Let's bet that when he gets into Lord Christopher's hands, he will die in thirty seconds..." Frederic suddenly spoke as he extended his hand toward Merener without taking his eyes from the sky.
"Bet, but for what? "
"Hmm... haha," Frederic chuckled: "If I win, you'll ask Lady Melissa out~, and vice versa..." Frederic whispered as he knew what reaction would follow if someone did that.
In the past, someone had already done that and that individual was evaporated from existence... literally...
"... Bet," Merener replied with slight confidence.
...
Grabbing the Angel by his throat, Christopher smiled widely.
"Congrats, you were picked as a volunteer to become a patient 0~. You will pay for the sins of your Generals with your soul," Christopher said as his teeth started being sharp like needles.
"...Patient 0? ... Wait-" the Angel's brain suddenly understood what was going to happen, but little too late.
*BITE - "AAAAHHHHHHH!" the Angel suddenly screamed when his neck crashed with Christopher's large, sharp-teethed mouth, scaring the wildlife around the Sangruil's kingdom with his scream.
Meanwhile, everyone was just watching the Angel shaking in Christopher's arms while a weird scary feeling of demise was creeping up on them.
And as suddenly as it started, it ended as suddenly.
Christopher released the Angel from his arms and let him fall to the ground like garbage.
"Now, the second part~," Christopher said and snapped his fingers.
...
[Before the snap]
"Thirty-five seconds, you lost," Merener spoke at which Frederic shuddered.
"...Damn," was all he said as his gaze fell upon Melissa that had her eyes fixed on her "Darling " all the time...
'I'm screwed...' he thought helplessly.
...
"Now, the second part~," Christopher said as he snapped his fingers.
Immediately, the Angel that fell on the ground slowly stood up like a zombie, surrounded by an aura of rotting flesh.
"What kind of shit is that? " asked one of the Angels while smiling...
Not for too long tho because as his words echoed around, Patient 0 turned, launched at the laughing Angel, and started tearing up and eating the flesh of his brother-in-arms.
"GOD HELP ME, SoMEoNE! UGhh..." The Angel shouted before he quickly died from blood loss as Patient 0 pulled a big chunk of flesh from his throat and started chewing it like gum.
"TaSty~" he replied in a distorted voice as his skin started peeling off, revealing another layer of grey skin under his Angelic one.
His ears started sharpening and growing a little, his fingers grew as well together with his nails, his teeth sharpened and turned thin like needles, and the holiness in his face disappeared.
Instead, his face took the appearance of a very well-known monster...
"Is that a... Wendigo? " Michael spoke when he saw the Angel's posture changing.
"What the fuck is Wendigo?! " asked one of the Archangels to which Michael replied: "A cannibalistic monster eating the flesh of his kind. In this case, the Angels... A Wendigo is possessed by an unimaginable hunger which can be compared to the Vampiric thirst..."
"Why I never heard of it?! " asked Morelay.
"Because it's forbidden to exist... A Wendigo is one of the Heavenly Father's earlier mistakes when he was creating life..." Michael replied, and when the Angelic wings fell from the Angel's back, Michael's eyes visibly flinched.
"How can we kill it? " Aralan asked.
"Right now... He is too lost in his hunger so the obvious decapitation that works in the first fifteen seconds is not going to work."
"So what will work? " Morelay asked.
"The only thing known is fire, a holy fire. A Wendigo is immune to everything else..."
Suddenly, a creepy "Yes~" sounded around as every gaze turned from the creature or Archangels toward Wendigo's maker, Christopher himself who wore a wide, psychopathic but at the same time pride smile.
Suddenly, when the creature ate the last remnants of the Angel, the Wendigo looked up at Christopher and screamed at a weird frequency, making every Angelic being cover their ears in pain.
"WHAT IS THAT??!!! " all the Angels asked the obvious while their ears started bleeding.
On the other side, Vampires and other considered dark beings heard only a faint scream.
"Yes, you can, my son~" Christopher suddenly replied with a wide smile as he was the only one who understood the Wendigo.
In an instant, the creature turned to the Angels who started panicking when it stood up.
From its previous 190 cm height, it grew to 250 cm. It was skinny, ugly, and dangerous.
Its purple eyes were glowing with anger and his bloody mouth started watering.
The Wendigo looked similar to the white one in a well-known horror game called Until Dawn...
"All Angles, pull BACK! " Michael shouted when he saw the creature as he himself turned, and started forming portal at the hill.
"Not so fast~," Christopher suddenly said.
Pointing the palm of his right hand towards the sky, a few objects resembling falling stars but fully black, flew from Christopher's hand towards the sky.
The objects flew up and when they hit a speed close to the light, when that happened, they suddenly fell down, into the middle of the enemy's lines of defense.
When they landed, the stars formed enormous explosions, sending hundreds of Angels flying away while also hitting some of them.
