[... A Few minutes later ...]

"Alright then," the Empress suddenly said after thinking for a while about the matter at hand.

Forming a throne of her own powers similar to Christopher's, right next to him, the throne looks quite expensive.

While covered in solid gold with a comfortable mattress, on its back, two raven wings appeared.

"I'll listen to your advice," she added.

"I'm glad." Christopher smiles in amusement.

"After all, we should help a fellow ruler if we trust them and they need our help. So they can, in the future, help us in return~. Don't you think? " Christopher asks with an honest smile.

"You... You trust me? " the Empress flashed a small, somehow seductive, and satisfied smile while her eyes glowed with a pure desire to own the man next to her.

"You tried to kill me only once so I think I'll trust you... not fully of course, you'll need to earn that, but enough to reveal something so maybe in the future, we might become friends."

"I didn't mean to! ... Even if it looked like it..." The Goddess looked at the ground with little regret in her eyes. She really fucked up her first impression...

'Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!!! Why only FRIENDS?! ' her mind was in turmoil.

"Don't worry about that. I like strong people who don't fear to show their power... even if their entire Empire is collapsing apart~"

"Ohh, okay... wait a minute?! I don't have problems in my Empire! What are you talking about? Explain yourself! " the Goddess demanded as she punched Christopher into his left shoulder. Of course, it was not a powerful punch, more like a playful one.

"Woman, did you hear yourself a few minutes ago or did you become senile already? " Christopher facepalmed as he shifted his gaze at the Goddess sitting next to him who had her face fully red with veins bulging on her forehead.

"With just the things you said to me before, I see numerous problems in your Empire that can, after some time if you are not careful, ruin you entirely..." Christopher said with his deepest honesty. He truly saw numerous problems.

"Mind explaining? " the Goddess asked after a second of calming down.

While trying to calm down, she leaned closer to him and grabbed his cold hand closer to her chest.

While doing this, she was impatiently waiting for an answer with a green glow in her eyes and her lower lip between her teeth.

Her Empire was her all and she was not ready to lose it.

If Christopher really saw a problem, she was ready to fix it.

He already proves himself more than enough that he is a capable and wise ruler.

The action took Christopher off guard a little but he continued and explained with his hand still being pushed towards those large bouncing mountains on the Goddess's chest.

"Your subordinates... You said you are going to fire the subordinates whom you don't fully trust right? " Christopher asks as the Goddess nods.

"How long are they in your kingdom? " Christopher continues.

"About two decades..." she quickly spoke like the years were days for her.

'Hmm, well, it's hard to think about years more if you are an immortal God. With time, years turn into days for you and days into hours...' Christopher thought.

When you are an immortal God, time loses its importance.

You don't need to fear dying from wasting your time if you have an infinite life span. The only thing you need to look out for are weapons that can kill you.

Of course... if they are existing.

To counter this statement, time doesn't need to be important except if you're not a Time God of course. Then, the time gains even more importance to you. It's a source of your power after all.

"And how many are they? " Christopher continued. Understanding the minor parts of the problem is essential. And for that, he needs to know everything related to the problem at hand so he can form a solution.

"Around two thousand... I think..." The Goddess replayed after thinking for a few seconds.

Christopher almost choked when he heard that. He knew that the Empire was bigger, much bigger than his Kingdom but still, it was a big amount of subordinates to fire. And these are just subordinates!!! Not the actual 'normal' citizens living in Credia!

Well, after all, this Empire could be considered as the true Aragos' Royal Capital and the Goddess next to him, the true Queen of Aragos.

The Light Royal Capital where the Light Queen lives was just built so The Light Dragon Entity could shut the hell up and stop sticking its nose into the matters of the inhabitants of Aragos.

With this, they formed an illusion that the Dragon has everything under control.

Aragos was after all a home planet of Darkness and beings of night before it became the purgatory for Supernaturals. It was important to control the literal spawner of Dark beings and the resting place of those same beings' souls, right?

Well, the truth is, most of the time, only the Witches were those who were influenced by the Light and her lies as Christopher read in the book of Creation.

They came too with the Light Queen, taking the place as a fourth nation of Aragos with its ruler gaining the title of Lord.

'That book was the best gift you could have given me, Christopher,' Christopher thought as he recalled the memory of his conversation with his future self.

Not only that the book have a bunch of dark creatures he can now create, but it also has some inner information about the creation of Aragos, and its transformation into Purgatory from no one else than the Heavenly Father himself.

So, while the Witches were with the Light, Werewolves and Vampires always chose to stay neutral or stick with the Dark Goddess.

Of course, that was until Christopher showed up, Cravensworth, who worked as a spy for the Goddess died at the hands of his own jealous son, and Werewolves with Vampires chose Christopher as their new leader.

Followed by another species which were Arachne spiders, one of the few true inhabitants of Aragos.

Their nation was not too big to become one of the big four which were first: The followers of the Credia Goddess, Cravensworth's Vampires, Frederic's Werewolves, and the Witches, but were enough to be right after them, together with the other true inhabitants of Aragos.

The race that was forbidden to be released ever again, by no one else than God himself.

With his appearance and a few coincidences, Christopher basically snitched half of the planet and became the third strongest powerhouse of Aragos.

Second is the Light Queen of course with her Angels borrowed by the Light Dragon and the Heavenly Father.

And first is the Goddess, to whom he's talking now, infecting her mind and slowly changing her thinking and actions into those that might help him or benefit him somehow in the future.

"Now when we know how many subordinates are going to be fired, how many easily submissive subordinates whom you trust are there? "

"Around five hundred I think... Oh no... You mean that..." The Goddess finally saw a glimpse of the problem Christopher was portraying right in front of her.

"I can't say if I'm correct or not, too many factors are playing here a big role and the main one is the mind and thinking of each individual in your Empire..." Christopher narrows in his throne, adding:

"BUT! " his expression turns serious.

"If I'm right and every individual was influenced by the masses of those whom you don't trust, half of your Empire might be already under the control of someone else," Christopher spoke.

"B-But how? " The Goddess was genuinely shocked.

She just came here to announce that a meeting of very strong Supernatural beings is going to happen tomorrow in her Empire like every year and that Christopher should go too as the new Lord of Sangruil.

But... this man just revealed secrets that not even her best assassins and spies knew about her, her Empire, and possible threats that might affect her in the not-too-distant future.

'This boy is a genius... Why I didn't find him sooner? '

'Those pathetic Gods would be already cased out of my domain and I would have more free time for myself and for making love with this treasure next to me,' was all the Goddess could think of as her obsessive side started to kick in.

While she was in her world, Christopher continued, drowning her more in his explanations like a true detective revealing the secrets, thoughts, and plans of a killer, hidden behind the curtains.

"Think of it as a Virus," Christopher suggested.

"Virus? Like epidemic? " the Goddess asked.

"Yes, infecting one individual and then another and another going forever, but in this case, it's not a virus but information."

"Probably false information about you for which people can turn against you and start to hate you silently without you knowing."

"Information about your hidden actions, likes, anything that can and will hurt you... And when you finally find out, it's too late."

"Oh God..." the Empress opened her eyes widely. She had already seen some patterns lately but just thought it was a small rebellion which, after some time, happens in every kingdom.

Obviously, when someone is in power for too long or longer than others, those others will appear to snitch this power for themselves due to jealousy.

They will fight you in a large-scale war or in a small duel.

Always someone coming, and you can't hide from them.

But if you are strong enough like a God or other powerful race, they will use more sneaky tactics and approaches before a brute force.

Attacking a God head-on is just foolish and pointless if you are not stronger than your target.

Yes, sneaky tactics will last a few years, which is long... but after those years, your entire Kingdom or Empire or Divine domain, everything will crumble apart and turn to dust.

The worst part, most of the time, you will find it out too late to stop it.

Your Kingdom or whatever you have will rot from inside and if you don't stop it in time... you are done.

You lose everything and those who you thought about as your friends from the start, are at the end of the day, those who will throw you into the lion's den first.

"So... are you still convinced your Empire is running without any problems? "

"Or you finally see the truth and you will stop being a blind arrogant chicken. Will you do something about it, or will you just decide to pretend like nothing is happening? "

"I... I... I'm..." the Goddess was speechless.

"I need to stop it! " she quickly said but when she was about to stand up, Christopher gently touched her hand and pulled her into his lap, making her throne disappear.

"Wh-What are you doing Lord Salvatore?! You said I should do something! I need to stop them and find out who is behind it! " The Goddess struggled in Christopher's arms like a snake.

"*Shh *shh *shh, Don't cause a scene now my dear~."

"Huh? " the Goddess narrowed her eyes but when she was about to say something, Christopher covered her mouth with his hand.

"*Shh, listen to me..." Christopher whispered, making the Goddess calm down a little.

"Why are you so quiet? " the Goddess mumbled from under Christopher's hand as he continued:

"Obviously, because you are being followed..." Christopher revealed as the Goddess opened her eyes wide.

But still having her mouth covered, she remained silent.

"At first, I didn't care. I thought it was your subordinate or someone, but listening to you and your problems, only now I can see that this dark being is someone you don't know about."

Closing her eyes, the Goddess suddenly released a small invisible way of power toward Christopher's mind.

"Where is he? " heard Christopher as he opened his eyes wider.

But wasting no time, he replies: "He is hiding around a thousand meters away from us."

"I can't see where, but I can feel his eyes on us..." he added.

Sending his own telepathic message, he spoke: "Act as natural as you can. Be like you don't know about him. I'll return soon."

The Goddess opened her eyes wide but nodded as a small trace of Darkness left Christopher's body and disappeared between the bushes.

...

Around a thousand meters away...

A shadowy being resembling a demon is hiding in bushes, closely watching Christopher and the Credia Goddess talking.

Suddenly, an unknown device in the form of a yellow orb started buzzing in his shadow, so he picked that up and listened.

"Status? " came out from the device as the being replied.

"Positive sir, you have a clear shot..."

"Copy that, but be sure to prepare the backup plan. We don't want any of those two to escape..." came out from the orb, adding:

"After all, Lord Lazarus will not be happy if that man survives this..."

"Roger that," the being nodded and hid the orb back in his shadows as something dark with a wide smile started moving behind him.

Something he didn't know about.
