"Well then, you can call me the bringer of Death~," Christopher said as his and the serpent tentacles' eyes glowed red while his tattoos and the veins that were visible on the tentacles glowed purple.
Hearing the same sentence he said to Christopher in the past, Ardelean smiled widely and prepared everything for his friend's fight. These 'blood mages' are pretty strong for him right now so he needs to be prepared and don't lose his mind in the fight again.
After all, Christopher is an expert on that!
Vials of blood? Weapons? Mana and spells for summoning? Everything was ready for Christopher to use at any time by Ardelean to only find out that Christopher actually doesn't need any of that because of three simple reasons.
The darkness essence, the souls there and blood spilled everywhere.
Christopher stood in the middle of this ritual cave with his two serpent-like tentacles causing fear in the blood mages and at the same time the darkness essence in him was consuming this fear and turning it into a raw power that quickly started changing Christopher's body, a move unseen by everyone.
Without knowing it, his body reached the strength of a Vampire who walked the Earth for around five hundred years in less then a minute, all thanks to the fear of the blood mages, souls he consumed from this cave and the blood spilled everywhere.
Some of the blood belonged to a high level beings thousand years old which helped his body development a lot.
Thousands of souls were fueling Christopher's soul which grew more robust. That was the power of the darkness and this change of his soul happened in less than five seconds, enormly faster then the change happening in his body.
His senses grew sharper, his control over bloodlust became much better, his personality turned more psychopatic and noble, and his raw strenght rose to heavens.
Now, he can kill a Vampire with his bare hands without not giving a damn.
Surrounded by the blood mages, his blood-red eyes were glowing and his body was slightly moving from side to side. In his mind he was humming a famous song he liked [Get out alive by Three Days Grace] and in his hand was the undead king's sword, ready to consume any material or being his blade would touch.
"Gentleman, you should have run for your life when you had the time, because now..." he looked at the mages who stood in front of him, precisely speaking the closest five "...you're not going to have this chance again."
The mages felt shivers running down their spines when they heard that, even those who didn't have direct eye contact with Christopher, whose clothes began to change.
The Advanture attire began to disolve into shadow mess and in the next second, it turned into a white aristocratic clothes with black details.
The main mage, their leader, wearing a combination of blue and red clothes with a mask of a dear with big horns spoke from behind Christopher.
"Who do you think you are boy? The bringer of death? Hahahaha really~... you?" the mage tried to suppress his fear but this thought he had was instantly thrown out of the window when Christopher slowly turned his face at the mage.
The leader started shaking violently while the strongest blood incantation was repeated by his inner voice.
Controlling the pulse of his blood system, he tried to hide that he was scared but it didn't work. Not in front of someone who became so precise for details like Christopher now.
Christopher's eyes traced the entire cave, his senses flew through the room like an echolocation while half of his face started disappearing and only darkness was formed on that side of his face.
"Ohhh Mage~" he spoke with amusement in his voice when he didn't sense any other threat around.
The merit where his echolocation senses could reach now was about two kilometers and only living beings Christopher could sense was a wild life in near forest, a black crow flying around the ruins as if watching something, and a carriage with four Vampire individuals heading towards the ruins.
"At least try to talk to me like you are not going to shit your pants at any moment." Christopher added with visible disgust, watching the shaking mage.
"What did you want to do with that girl?" he continued with an ordering tone that didn't allow refusal and without looking at the spot where he sensed a female presence, he pointed towards the wooden table where the girl was hiding.
"Of course, she is our blood bank and ritual sacrifice" the leader dropped all information without further thinking about what those words might mean for Christopher.
The only thing he knew was that if he would lie, this being in front of him would know it again somehow. It was like nothing could be hidden from him.
Only when he provided the information to Christopher, the mage realised he falled under a charm.
'H-HOW?! I'm a Vampire! How can he use a charm on me?!' the mage was on a verge of mindbreak.
Christopher looked towards the girl and spoke in a very kind tone, completely different from the tone he used with the mages.
"Come out girl. Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you and no one would ever do that again." he looked at the leader with a glint in his eyes that promised a painful torture.
After a minute of deciding, the girl slowly stood up with a scared expression. On her body was hanging a destroyed pair of black dresses that resembled those Samantha wore and everywhere on the girl's body were bruises, cuts and signs of vampire bite marks.
Seeing those bite marks, Christoher's eyes twitched which caused fear in that girl. Thinking she had done something bad, she tried to hide again, but before she could do that, Christopher was standing next to her and touched her shoulder.
The mages looked around and were wondering how he did that. No one, not even the Cravensworth family had this kind of speed. The only member who slightly resembled this speed was Lord Cravensworth himself, but only just slightly.
Christopher was too surprised by his new developed body but didn't make any hint of it.
He can't let his guard down here, it would be foolish.
"You don't need to be scared of me, my dear. I'm not going to hurt you" he spoke in an even more gentle tone than before which shook her and Samantha's heart, who was still hiding behind that stone balcony's reiling.
'Hah, his voice is so sweet~' Samantha thought, her body felt like it was melting from an unknown reason.
The girl in front of him opened her blue eyes wide at the sound of his voice next to her and before she knew it, his hand was on her right cheek and he was slowly turning her face towards him.
"What's your name sweetheart?" he asked gently as his face changed back to normal.
The girl slowly said, stunned by his beautiful yet pale face.
"A-anna, my name is Anna," as tears started falling from her face, and without knowing what she was doing, she hugged the man tightly and cried in his embrace.
His scent was driving the woman crazy as a sense of safety and gratitude took over her.
This action shook Christopher's entire core because it brought back buried memories of Rose and their first meeting where she cried in his arms because of the kidnapping incident that happened in the past.
'I didn't forget about those bastards my love. When I return, they are going to pay for what they did to you my beloved wife. Even that scumbag who asked Vicki to be his. How dare he!'
Feeling a slight change occurring in his eyes, he pulled away from the girl and kneeled in front of her, his face reaching her weist.
The girl shuddered when she saw his eyes. She was pretty small for eighteen years old girl and he was around 190cm tall now, because of the change so he needed to kneel.
"I need you to climb up those stairs..." he pointed towards the balcony "...where is my friend waiting for you okay?" he spoke in the most gentle tone he could muster.
He knew she needed some kindness now because of what she went through and even though he is not the best for this thing, he tried to be as kind as possible without thinking about the possible consequences of his actions brought by his handsome face and an aura of a powerfull male individual.
The mages looked at the balcony after they heard someone else is there with him and tried to do something but then, their faces were forcefully turned towards the two tentacles that started coming closer to them like snakes through the air, circulating around them as if they were the tentacles' pray.
The girl opened her eyes wide when she heard that she needed to leave, giving goodbye to this really handsome man.
After so much time of being alone and hurt in this place, someone kind-hearted found her but now she needs to leave this person?
[If she would knew the truth, she wouldn't thought he's kind-hearted, HAHAHAHAHA~]
A bigger amount of tears started falling from her eyes and her grip on Christopher's white noble shirt tightened even more.
Her body was pressing against his as if she wanted to merge with his existence, touching his neck with her wet lips like she wanted to bite him.
He hugged her again and whispered something to her ear which lit up her face a little as she nodded and slowly let go of Christopher's shirt like she was charmed by him.
He then got up and gave her a small hat pat at which she first shuddered, but then she let him do what he wanted.
"He he he~" the girls smiled, literally litting up the dark room with her smile.
All this time, the mages who were watching, wanted to do something but an unknowing fear and Christopher's majestic presence were preventing them from doing anything. Mainly, because every move they did, now attracted the gaze of those two serpent tentacles still circulating around.
But, when they saw the girl suddenly running away towards the stone staircase, the leader sighed and started controlling the girl's blood which made her fall to the ground and scream in pain.
"AAAAAAHhhhh, s-stop please Aaaahhhh!" she begged as her blood began to boil.
"I'm sorry but you can't run away. Not until I say it!" he shouted, pulling her left arm out of her body by his blood control.
But when he took a step forward to fetch her up and continue in his ritual, something happened what surprised him entirely.
Christopher looked at the leader with disgust and aimed his palm at the girl too. Forming a purple barrier around her, he blocked the leader's control and the girl slowly got up, her arm healed in three seconds.
Seeing Christopher saving her again, a special place for him slowly started to build in her heart.
"Samantha!" he said with deep voice and Samantha, knowing what to do, ran down and took the girl, while Christopher protected them from the mage's spells that tried to stop them.
"Sister?" Anna's eyes widened when she found out that the girl waiting for her was Samantha, her older sister.
Samantha was just a few months older but Anna was always referring to her as older sister or big sister.
Samanthat didn't responded to her, instead, she tucked the girl with her up to the balcony.
"What are you Idiots waiting for? Go and catch them!" the leader shouted as he tried his best to fight against Christopher's darkness barrier.
When Samantha and Anna reached the balcony together, the barrier stopped protecting only them and covered the entire balcony, preventing the mages from escaping or catching the girls.
Seeing this, the leader stopped using his mana and looked at Christopher whose eyes were as black as the darkness alone. His face full of dark lines that looked like cracked porcelan, resembled someone who was possessed by the highest demons.
His lips were curled into a slight badass smile as if he was about to achieve his long time revange.
'That power, that appearance, this aura.' the leader opened his eyes wide, finally understanding something as a grimoaire appeared in his left hand.
Quickly turning the pages, he stoped when he found the right information he was looking for.
Reading the information, his eyes, shiffting towards Christopher opened wide.
"W- Who are you really and what pact do you have with The Darkness? What are you doing on Aragos!" the leader shouted, understanding that Christopher was probably not just any ordinary being and that he must have come from another world because someone with this kind of power is forbidden to be here.
The only trully 'Dark' beings alive here were the Vampires but someone controling shadows who is also a Vampire?
'An intruder from the prophercy,' thought the mage.
This planet is fully under the control and jurisdiction of Light Royalty and the only one who could do this kind of feat and enter this planet without attracting the Royalty is the opposite of them. Only The Darkness could do something like this.
Yes, Witches and Gods can enter too, or someone with teleportation powers can open a portal here too but each being would immediately attract someone's attention and no one from them can control shadows like Christopher can.
Imagine it as if each being has a specific imprint in the Universe. When God enters a place, tracks of divinity would be left there.
Witches would leave mana, and someone with the power of openning the portals would leave a "glitch" in that place.
An imprint in the space itself.
But how can a soul like Christopher leave an imprint? Only with someone who has a connection with spirits, you can find traces of this kind of intruder.
Plus, on Aragos are too many spirits which means that when the Royalty found out about Christopher, they simply thought that the spirit of a dead person arrived or that it was a mistake in the system.
They didn't though in the slightest that it was one of the most desired men of the Light entity herself.
Understanding this plus, knowing that a really strong artifact is hidden in this world mentioned in the prophecy, the mage Leader put everything together and understood.
"Someone with this power is not from our world!"
Christopher, who entered his mad state again after remembering Rose, and Vicki and seeing Anna cry, just smiled widely while showing his sharp teeth, veins around his eyes pulsating.
"Wait a minute! You don't have a pact with The Darkness right?" the mage shuddered, seeing the divine truth when he saw Christopher's mocking smile.
It was exactly the same type of smile Lord Cravenwhorth was giving him when he didn't fully understand something important.
"You are The Darkness itself!" shouted the Leader with horrific expresion.
Christopher's eyes lit up with purple flame as he began to approach the group in front of him, letting the mages live in this little lie their leader made.
'Looks like this man doesn't know about the host thing... I can use that' Christopher thought.
"Like I said before..." a strong wind started circulating as if they were in the middle of a hurricane.
"I'm the bringer of Death!" he said as thousands of souls he consumed in this cave exploded from him and started wreaking havoc all around.
The souls looked like all sorts of rotting monsters from hell as their shrieks and screams echoed through the cave.
Some of them resembled those of a famous demonic game in the human world about a man with a double-barreled shotgun that even demons feared while others reminded flying ghost-like monsters from a prison called Azkaban.
Scratching their nails and claws on the walls and attacking the weakest mages, while taking their souls and blood to Christopher, this all was happening in front of the leader of the blood mages.
Consuming the souls of those mages and drinking their blood from a chalice he formed by his shadow powers, Christopher's power rose and his body, similar to that of a five-hundred-year-old Vampire began to refine again becoming older. It was like each soul added fifty years to his existence and due to this development, his power level grew even higher.
Some mages died in a few seconds, while others were fighting for their lives. The only one who remained paralyzed and untouched was the leader himself, hidden under the blood barrier resembling a dome he made for himself while listing through his grimoaire to find any information how to stop this demon.
He ignored the screams of his friends, he just wanted to survive this madness.
"W-What is this s-sis?" asked Anna, while looking in disbelief and fear at the man who rescued her.
"I... I don't know" Samantha shuddered and pulled Anna a little away from the reiling, fearing for her sister's safety but at the same time fighting with her desire to jump in the middle of the battlefield and embrace the man she found quite handsome now.
His black hair grew a little reaching his shoulders now and his handsome face that looked like cracked porcelain was painted by the blood of the Vampire mages.
In his eyes could be seen only one thing.
Death.
Christopher looked at all this with pleasure and satisfaction. He was the karma that came there because of the mages' actions.
He was the Ripper who brought what the mages deserve for hurting a sweet girl like Anna.
Suddenly, the sword on his back started leaving an extreme killing intent at which Christopher smiled.
"Want to participate?" he asked as the sword's killing intent exploded even more.
"Well, I'll take that as yes?" he said with an amused expression and let the sword do what it wanted.
With each soul of the mage his demonic souls brought to him, Christopher's power just rose and all he needed to do was just stand there enjoying his drinks and wait until his army of undead souls with his sword in the front would do all of the 'dirty' work.
"Holly fuck" spoke Samantha as she looked at everything with wide opened eyes, while gently holding Anna's hand.
"Sister! I told you that you can let go of me" Anna tried to pull her hand but her sister was stronger.
"No! I left you unprotected for one minute and you were kidnapped. I'm not letting you alone again." Samantha said and placed her other hand on Anna's cheek.
"You don't even know how scared we were about your safety," she said and hugged her little sister.
Meanwhile, the mages in blue and red ritual clothes tried to brace themselves against the souls, while the souls wreaked havoc in the entire cave.
The sword flew from one soul's hand to another, killing the mages pretty quickly while consuming every material it could.
Blood, stone, air, soul fragments, everything was consumed by the sword's blade.
The fear with the mixture of death, blood, and vengeance was all Christopher felt right now. With a wide smile, he jumped towards the closest mages, letting his tentacles loose.
"Meet. Your. Maker~" Christopher said and his tentacles flew forward.
The left one grabbed the closest mage's head and pulled it away while the right one pierced his chest and pulled out his heart, eating it right after.
Another mage died when the tentacle, holding the previous mage's head threw it away and enveloped the other mage's body like an anaconda.
Spinning him in the air, the tentacle pierced his chest, flew a little further, and then bit his neck from behind, separating the head and body.
