"This is my home, and yours too from now on, until you master your powers properly."
Christopher opened his eyes wide "What do you mean by that?"
"I mean that until you master your power and become a true dragon warrior, you are going to be locked here. Away from your wives, from your family, from everyone. The time here is faster, one minute on the earth is a month here, so don't worry too much about them."
Christopher looked at the two suns that were hanging above the land.
"Why?"
"Because you are acting like a child in fights, losing your composure at the first blow. I taught you how to fight and you still let yourself be beaten. You are not a pathetic human anymore Christopher!"
"You are more! You are a Dragonic Vampire. A first of your kind. A Progenitor! The start of an entirely new race, but you are acting like some pleb vampire."
Christopher, whose gaze fell on the ground felt a nostalgic feeling from the past of being scolded by his father and mother in his heart.
"I'm going to tell you a story," said Ardelean and started walking.
Christopher shifted his gaze to his back and thought about something before he teleported to Ardelean's right side.
"A progenitor huh, I heard about those but I thought they were just a myth," he said as a small feeling of pride started forming in his heart.
"No, they're definitely not a Myth!"
Ardelean smiled and started talking "My true name is Kuragari Kai and I'm five thousand years old."
Christopher opened his eyes wide when he heard that.
[... Phoenix mansion, Isobel's bedroom ...]
Thomas and Marcus finally transported all the suitcases and they were now sitting on two chairs with Amanda on Marcus' lap.
Arriving at the room, Vicki asked "Done?" as the two of them nodded.
"Fine then, Thomas, take Lorie home. Anna, Amanda, go with him."
Amanda nodded as Anna passed Vicki and walked through the door.
She stood next to Thomas, who picked up Lorie like a princess and all four of them disappeared in the cloud of black smoke.
"Marcus, come with me. We need to go for Celeste, Elizabeth, and my mother." continued Vicki while leaving the room with Marcus and walking through the corridor.
"May I ask? Where are Lady Rose and Lady Claudia?" asked Marcus.
Hearing his question, Vicki sighed and answered "They are looking for my husband."
[... The cursed dimension ...]
"You are what?" Christopher asked with wide-opened eyes and mouth while looking at Ardelean like he had grown a second head.
Ardelean narrowed his eyes "Don't look at me like an Idiot. I'm telling you my story here."
Christopher laughed at the word 'Idiot' and apologized for being impolite as Ardelean continued.
"So, like I said before, my true name is Kuragari Kai, I was a samurai in the past. This planet was my home but it didn't look like this in the past. Actually, it looked a lot like an ancient China or Japan."
Ardelean suddenly pointed to a pair of mountains in the distance.
"There was a kingdom before, and I was one of the ten best samurais who were protecting the king. He was like a father to me and in every battle, I was ready to sacrifice my own life to protect his."
Suddenly, Ardelean stopped in his tracks as the entire environment around them began to change, showing them the past.
"But one day when I was home with my wife and kids, a messenger visited me and gave me an envelope that contained a letter."
"The king died and I was accused of poisoning him. I was swearing that I didn't do it, but no one was listening. I was sentenced and thrown into prison. After three days of insane torture, I understood who did it."
"It was the king's only son, Akihiko." Ardelean spit the name in disgust and hate.
"He was the one who poisoned his father. He wanted to rule the kingdom so much, and he used my name to get what we wanted. He used me."
Ardelean's eyes were glowing dark purple for a few seconds, while Christopher, a little shocked by this news, was waiting for Ardelean to continue his life story.
"But I was not alone in this. On the night of the third day, a handsome man appeared in my cell. He told me that he could give me the power I needed to free myself and for free!"
"When I asked his name, he just called himself 'The Darkness'."
"So you were..." Christopher wanted to continue but stopped, it was impolite.
"Yeah, I took that offer and immediately felt the power I gained. I escaped the prison, but when I reached my home, it was already covered in flames."
"In the distance, I saw the prince, escaping with my family. Rage overcame my mind as I started killing everyone the prince sent at me. Every city he came through, was dead after I walked through it."
"Blinded by rage, I killed everyone who stood in my way, without understanding that with every kill, the darkness inside me was gaining more and better control over me."
"Finally, after three months, the king's son Akihiko couldn't run anymore. He didn't have a place to hide anymore, so he returned to the kingdom and prepared a trap for me with the last hundred soldiers he had."
"I was fighting and killing until the only one who stayed alive was Akihiko, my family, and me."
"Again, I was so blinded by the rage and revenge that when he killed my children, I didn't even flinch. I just... I just looked at them like their lives meant nothing to me." a small teardrop fell from Ardelean's eye.
"Then, he pierced my wife's heart with his sword and again, I didn't feel anything. All I felt was revenge and never-ending rage that was pushing me further. It all ended when I finally took his life. The Darkness left my body and my emotions came back. Only then I realized, what I had done."
Christopher, who was all the time watching at the mountains now shifted his gaze at Ardelean and saw purple glowing tears falling from his eyes.
*Sigh *Sniff "W-When I saw them lying on the ground, I-I didn't know what to do. I kneeled, crying as I held them in my arms."
"My wife, who was almost dead just touched my face and smiled, before her hand fell on the ground and she left with our kids. I was crying for almost two hours until I got up and buried them."
"Then I kneeled and took my katana with which I killed everyone and aimed the tip towards my heart. But, before I could kill myself, The Darkness appeared again and the blade of my katana shattered into thousands of pieces."
"I looked at the man again and he gave me an offer."
"If I harvest enough souls to completely free it, it's going to give me my family back. With a move of its hand, I saw my family again, alive, and because of a turbulent tornado of sadness in my heart, I took it and became this." he looked at his shadowy hands.
"A shadow, who is harvesting souls for The Darkness. After the deal, it gave me the name Ardelean as I started harvesting the souls, but even after giving it all the souls of people I killed on this planet, it was not enough and it's never going to be enough. I'll never free my family, and I'm going to stay like this forever."
Now, even Christopher had tears in his eyes as Ardelean continued, "That's why I want you to become strong enough to protect your family. Don't make the same mistake as I did. Don't become weak and powerless. It's awful."
"I was a human but you, you are a Dragon vampire. A first of your kind. A Progenitor of a new and extremely strong race. You have so much potential, so use it. You must become unpredictable so you can win against The Darkness."
"If your enemy thinks of the mountains, attack like the sea, and if he thinks of the sea, attack like the mountains. If you do not control your enemy, your enemy will control you, so to win any battle, you must fight as if you are already dead."
Christopher nodded as his eyes started glowing with determination and he looked at Ardelean, "So when are we starting?"
A wide smile formed on Ardelean's face as they looked at each other.
"Now," said Ardelean as they punched each other at the same time and both were sent flying.
Landing a few meters away from each other, both started laughing and got up, running against each other again.
This lasted for a long six months as Christopher, step by step became stronger and found a few interesting things about his body and powers.
Thanks to the messed up time on the cursed planet, this feat was possible.
First, he has higher resistance than the ordinary newborn dragon and more raw power than any newborn vampire.
Second, he found out that he can somehow consume power more easily than other beings.
If another strong being wanted to consume some element of power, it would be hard and tiring, but Christopher is doing it a lot easier than others and unconsciously.
And when some energy is consumed by him, his body unconsciously makes a copy of this energy and even creates something similar.
It happened when he touched the flail that had traces of Azmel's power in it. Christopher consumed it and his body made a copy of it, a second later creating Christopher's power and control over an earth element.
The problem is, that his body only creates a weaker version of that power, so Christopher needs to train it a lot, to make it actually useful.
Third, he found out that he could control blood and create random things with it like weapons, shields, etc.
When he tried to consume the blood of his enemy, his wounds healed faster.
Fourth, he can change the shape of his body a little, mostly his face and hands, forming dragon-like long claws or just changing his nails into claws. After three months, he managed to change the right upper part of his face back to normal. But he likes his twisted horns so he is not hiding them, he would do that only in the human world. After all, the horns are the pride of every dragon.
Five, he studied a few Ardelean's techniques that he created when he had free time in the past and was not harvesting the souls.
But Ardelean taught him more.
Each night, when the training ended, Christopher learned about the vampire society and the dragon society, and how to act and behave like a Lord.
He became a Lord when he got married, so he needed some discipline.
Next, what he can do and what he can't do in both societies etc.
Then the last day came...
"You are ready," said Ardelean while levitating in the air.
In front of him was Christopher, who was levitating too and had a big smile plastered on his face.
He was wearing the black suit with golden decorations he had before he got here, but it was fully repaired.
"I want to give you something" added Ardelean as a long sword appeared in his right hand, "It's yours, take it."
Christopher took the sword and pulled it out from the sheet.
It was a beautiful katana with a black blade and a thin red line was starting near her handle, coming across her entire blade right to the tip.
"It took me a thousand years to harvest every single piece of her blade. I wanted to give her to someone worthy of her. And I found you," said Ardelean.
Christopher hesitated "I-I can't take her, I'm not worthy of her" but Ardelean just shook his head.
"It's already yours" and pointed at the handle, where appeared Christopher's name and disappeared a second later.
Christopher smiled and hugged Ardelean who caught the shadow off guard.
"Thanks for everything."
"No I thank you" replied Ardelean as he pulled away, adding "And now, you should have come back, your wives are going to freak out. You didn't talk to them for twelve minutes!"
Christopher started laughing as he and Ardelean started walking together back toward the ruins of the Phoenix mansion, where Christopher's training and transformation started.
"Tell me, Master, how can I defeat The Darkness?" asked Christopher and Ardelean stopped.
"You can't. I'll train you so you don't need to use its power like me in the past, because one day, it will come for you. It's inevitable."
Christopher narrowed his eyes.
"How can I protect myself from it?"
"You need to isolate it in yourself because every single second it's going to fight for control over you. You must resist!" replayed Ardelean and started walking again while Christopher nodded.
Arriving at the attic, Christopher asked "So, what now?"
Ardelean disappeared from the doorway he was standing in and reappeared behind Christopher, wanting to knock him down.
In a blink of an eye, Christopher turned, and with a wide smile, he caught Ardelean's hand.
"It's not going to work again Master."
"But I need to do it so you can go" replayed Ardelean as Christopher released his hand.
Narrowing his eyes, he asked, "Why?"
"Because you teleported here unconscious, you need to be unconscious again to leave," Ardelean responded.
Christopher nodded and turned again, letting Ardelean knock him down.
Every inch of Christpher's body was aching and screaming to turn and dodge, but he ignored it cuz of what Ardelean said.
"My beloved wives, I'm coming back" he smiled as he felt Ardelean's hand crashing against the back side of his neck.
Seeing him falling on the ground, Ardelean smiled.
"Heh, you're going to change the Supernatural world forever host." and let Christopher's body consume him back, while they were returning to NYC.
