Lyle took a moment to consider the skill and artifact bestowed upon him by the system. Each member of the team had received a unique skill and artifact, but Lyle's, given his leadership role, was particularly significant.
The new skill was called "Void Step". This ability allowed Lyle to temporarily phase out of the physical plane and move through space itself, akin to teleportation, bypassing obstacles and evading attacks. The skill required a high level of concentration and mana control, but it granted him unparalleled mobility and the element of surprise in combat.
Lyle believed that this skill was given to him because his Darkness Manipulation was higher than his blood manipulation, and because of the face he had the skill [ Spatial Slash ].
The skill was similar to what Lyle could do with his ability, turn his body into darkness itself in order to dodge attacks, but it was a step above it.
