"There!" Londar exclaimed suddenly, his eyes glowing white as he scrutinized the barrier, searching for a weak spot. Nicholas and the others formed a protective ring around him, their weapons flashing as they cut down any creature that dared to approach.
He pointed to a faint flicker in the barrier's energy, one only he could see. "I see a weak point, Nicholas, aim your strikes here."
Nicholas nodded and hefted his greatsword, channeling his energy into the blade. With a mighty swing, he struck the indicated spot. The barrier shimmered violently but held. Nicholas gritted his teeth and struck again, each blow intensifying the reaction of the barrier as Lyle and the others joined to help him.
With their added strength, the entire barrier cracked from the first attack, the second attack causing some parts of it to even fall down akin to glass that had shattered, and the third attack shattering it completely.
