"Yes, the emperor had thrown them in the opposite direction, if Basen and his group continue chasing us, they will need more than two weeks days to get to this place, we can rest assured that they won't be a problem for some time."
"But even then, we can't just do nothing, we have to get stronger, after all, you've seen what happened in the Setting Light Empire, and how they were able to quickly get to us."
"That array, we might have to use it for a couple of more times together with that spell, otherwise they will just catch up to us again."
"It might take them a month or two to get close to us again, but they will do so, and we won't be able to rely on anybody else when that happens, we need to improve our strength, get powerful enough to fight them off and not be so afraid of them any longer," Nicholas said as he, Lyle, and their servants were all sitting down in a forest and talking.
