The sensation of being transported through the array was disorienting, like being caught in a whirlwind of colors and sensations. Lyle, Nicholas, and their servants found themselves hurtling through space and time, unsure of where they would end up.
The array was loosely based on the array that the old dragon had used to transport Lyle and Nicholas back to Itakas. Londar had heard all about the array from Lyle who had made sure to observe and memorize every single detail about the array.
The inscription, the symbols, the runes present in the air around them, Lyle had memorized as much as he could.
Thanks to the close connection that he and the other servants shared, Lyle was able to not only explain everything to Londar, but he was able to even give him an image of the array thanks to their senses being so closely connected.
