The battlefield fell into a momentary silence, broken only by the ominous growls emanating from the transformed Emperor. Lyle and Nicholas stood side by side, ready to face this monstrous adversary.
The Emperor's eyes glowed with an eerie red light as he surveyed the two intruders. His voice echoed in a guttural tone that seemed to shake the very air.
"Fools who dare oppose me! You will witness the true power of my lord!"
The dark aura emanating from the Emperor, as well as from inside the castle, rose higher into the sky as a dread took over the soldiers far away who were staring at the sight.
The mist was pulling back, seemingly being devoured by the emperor and whatever was inside the palace as the specters slowly died, falling to the ground but scattering in the air before hitting the ground.
