As Lyle and Naistan prepared to leave for the battlefield, Lyle's mind raced to find a way to communicate with Colonel Anderson. He needed to convey his suspicions about the organization's sinister plan and the danger their camp was walking into. Time was of the essence, and he couldn't afford to waste a moment.
Of course, he couldn't give Anderson too much information either as the latter might get suspicious about where the information came from and how Lyle knew about it.
As they made their way to the camp, Lyle discreetly sent a telepathic message to Iritil, instructing him to find out how many people were present on the battlefield. Iritil acknowledged the task and assured Lyle that he would do his best.
