It was an incredibly high-level skill that Nicholas spent many years developing. In fact, it had taken him over 6 years to create the basics of the skill and to finally be able to slash with the power of severing space, but even then, it could only slash what his sword touched, so he spent a couple of more years to create what the skill was right now.
When he gave Lyle a vial of his own blood, he was expecting him to only take it when he became a Golden Knight or even a Titled Knight if the latter was a bit skeptical.
Only when he became a Golden Knight would he finally possess the required strength to know a bit more about himself, and the fact that Nicholas was a vampire whose reason for being in the Golden Lion Empire was Lyle himself.
Nicholas had expected Lyle to gain quite a big boost when drinking his blood, his stats would rise, and he would get some of his skills, of which Nicholas had many.
