Lyle and the rest waited so that the two Silver Knights who got seriously injured while doing their best to protect the healers would be out of danger. When their state had stabilized enough, the other four Silver Knights carried them on makeshift stretchers while Lyle and the other Golden Knights did their best to stay alert as they made their way through the forest.
Thanks to the Necromancer and the undead army he had raised, there were no monsters close to them. The stench of the undead and the power of undeath was enough to deter any monster from coming close, which proved to be helpful as it allowed them to walk through the forest without stopping to fight.
It also allowed them to slowly heal and regain their mana, which had been running low for all of them.
