Lyle left the meeting with conflicting thoughts. Harrison's theory of the third party that started attacking them made a lot of sense, much more compared to Lyle's theory that it was connected to him, but for some reason, he couldn't shake it off.
The thing was, the Night Blades that were possibly working with the enemy might not have joined because of him or Nicholas, but had been instructed to go against them later. There was also the possibility that they joined with that simple goal in mind, or there could be some that were there because of him and Nicholas while others were there simply because they were paid.
'First the whole event with Priscila and her group, and now this!' Lyle cursed in his head as he sat inside the carriage.
'There is no saying just who the enemy might be, we also know very little about their numbers and military strength, not to mention the seemingly outrageous information they were able to acquire.'
