"What's going on?" He asked as he entered the hall.
Seth was there, attempting to resolve the situation but he was in on it too. Damien had ordered him to rearrange the seats and ensured that Markus did not have a seat at the table.
"Alpha Damien, your Beta is telling me that all the seats are taken. I-"
"That's right, all the seats are taken," he replied without skipping a beat as he folded his arms.
The color drained from Markus' face.
"Is this… is this a joke?" Markus asked as he attempted to plaster a fake smile on his face.
He was a guest in Obsidian Howl but he wasn't about to allow himself to be disrespected like this.
"A joke? Oh no. Why would I joke about something like this?"
"Alpha Damien, perhaps we got off on the wrong foot. If this is about Safira-"
