Wendell hung his head low. Now, he couldn't even look Safira in the eye.
"Guilty," Greyson muttered under his breath.
Safira gave him a look, hoping he would give the younger male wolf a break. Amarna had brought them more information on what transpired after Alpha Vincent left that day.
He confronted his mate about what happened and rumor has it, she didn't confess to anything. She refused to admit she was involved until Alpha Vincent made threats of his own.
When he found out, he was so angry at her that the other wolves thought they were going to fight. But instead, Alpha Vincent said a few words before leaving Luna Cecil. He was said to have gone hunting and had yet to return.
