Clara thanked the delivery guy after collecting what she ordered. She was in high spirit today even though she was earlier dull and worried from overthinking about last night's incident but Akira's words lifted her spirit. With a small smile, she jogged back into the company and was greeting everybody she came across and some people casted weird glances at her but she wasn't bothered. She jogged to the elevator and walked in after it opened, she was the only person there.
Akira's office was on the eightieth floor and when the elevator got to the second floor, it opened and someone stepped in. It was Derek, he immediately smiled when his eyes met Clara's horrified ones. Clara had never expect to bump into Derek today, at least not in the elevator. Seeing his face reminded her of the rubbish he spouted last night and it made her blush from embarrassment. Choosing to ignore him, she pretended she didn't know him and kept looking ahead but Derek was having none of it.
