Those words that left her mouth were followed with silence, no words was said from anybody as two pairs of eyes with different colours stared at a pair of dark eyes and the dark eyes stared back.
Jesy tilted her head in question at the sudden stillness in the atmosphere, that wasn't expected. She had thought Trevor would quickly reply to her the moment she spoke, his sudden silence made her question herself if she overdid her confidence.
Maybe that was the case, but she refused to back down, it was too late anyways.
"If you're not giving me a reply, then I should take my leave."
Jesy said and made it that she would leave the office, she turned around and began walking towards the door but her pace was abnormally slow which Trevor did not miss.
'Damn! Why are you suddenly being so stupid? Turn back and accept the damn offer!'
