"Sleeping on that big bed would be lonely and cold." Trevor gestured at his own empty bed before his eyes went back to stare at her guarded face which caused him to smile even wider, but his smile faded afterwards and he said, "Come here darling let's sleep, it's late already."
Trevor finished his words and waited for Jesy's reply, but knowing Jesy, he knew she wasn't someone who would just accept his request that easily and of course, she didn't fail to surprise him.
Jesy stared at Trevor like he just spouted the most foolish words she'd heard in a while, she made faces at him with her eyes rolled upwards and instead of approaching him, she walked towards the empty bed and slumped on it.
The bed bounced at Jesy's weight, it was soft and cozy. Jesy raised the quilt and rolled under it, enjoying the warmth of it while totally ignoring the existence of the other person inside the room.
