Few days passed on and finally, the long awaited day arrived. As early as six am, the students were already in school and on their sports wear, hyperactive and laughed as they chatted about today's event.
The air was festive and the atmosphere was filled with celebration. Everyone was happy and excited about today's event, it was evident in the colourfully decorated hallway, the sounds of laughter and everyone hurrying around to get ready.
But somebody wasn't in the festive mood like every other students, it was Lexi, she looked gloomy and there was no ounce of excitement in her eyes. But unlike her, her friends were excited, they talked and laughed but Lexi wasn't even listening.
It was time for the festival and the students who were ready left the school's building and into the open field that had chairs and canopy decorated with colourful ribbons and balloons to create a beautiful and festive atmosphere.
