The underground was dark.
There was a rotten smell of corpses, lingering around Erland's nose. When he opened his eyes, slowly, his vision was still blurry.
He could see his surrounding being illuminated by a faintly green hued light of his which was emitting from his body. He looked around and saw a black substance leaking from his body once more which has dissolved the mysterious beings which are now unidentifiable.
"Where am I?..." Erland looked around as his vision was getting better. He felt his whole body to be sore and bitten, bleeding from many parts and his cloths were almost in shambles.
He slowly got up and finally took a good look. The only light was the light emitting from him underneath the ground and there were many creatures, standing far away from Erland, looking at him with fear.
