In my office, the four of us talk about what she is talking about.
"So Leo suggested to me earlier if Ai here know knowledge about a bunker or a place that can save us to the nukes!"
"Oh? I was also about to ask that to Ai. Good work Leo"
"I am not worthy in such words"
"You're too modest, Leo! You deserve to be praised!" Chloe shouted
"A suitable refuge from potential nuclear threats could be a bunker, although accommodating our extensive group poses a challenge. Rest assured, our location is distanced from likely strike zones, surrounded by mountains and forests. Nevertheless, prudent preparation is essential, considering potential risks like electromagnetic pulse (EMP) disrupting electronics. Nuclear blasts can yield environmental repercussions—fires, smoke, and pollutants affecting air, water, soil, impacting climate, wildlife, agriculture, and overall well-being. Psychological trauma for survivors is a concern, inducing fear, anxiety, stress, and depression, further influencing societal, economic, political, and diplomatic dynamics."
"Now those are some problems we still have to deal with… specifically the EMP, we just got military war vehicles on our hands, and now we're gonna lose it like that? Hell no. Ai, do you know some anti EMP shield or something?" I ask
"Military vehicles are equipped with complex electronic systems and communication devices that are susceptible to the disruptive effects of EMP. A high-intensity EMP, whether natural or caused by a nuclear detonation, can induce powerful electric currents and voltages in electronic components, leading to malfunctions or damage. To mitigate EMP effects, military vehicles may incorporate shielding measures and hardened electronic systems designed to withstand electromagnetic pulses. These measures can include the use of Faraday cages, EMP-resistant materials, and other protective technologies. However, the level of protection can vary depending on the specific design and hardening measures implemented in each vehicle. It's worth noting that military forces often take EMP considerations into account when designing and maintaining their vehicles, as ensuring the resilience of electronic systems is crucial for operational effectiveness in various scenarios."
"Oh? Then does that mean we have nothing to worry about?" Leo asked
"No, those vehicles aren't like those"
"Awww, how unlucky. So is there a place where we can find Anti EMP shield?" Chloe asked
"Places like survivalist stores, electronics shops, or even military surplus stores might have materials or devices that can offer some level of protection against EMP. We just need to be strategic and resourceful in finding and securing these items to increase our chances of survival."
"Survivalist stores, electronics shops, and military surplus stores huh… is there something like that here?"
"There's none" Ai replied
"We're fcked" Chloe said "What else should we do now!? Without those vehicles, we won't have the advantage! I mean, after the nuclear and the EMP, only we will have strong vehicles like that. With that much power, we can even take over any bases we want! HA HA HA HA!" Chloe laughed as she was a mad scientist
"What a mad man" Leo murmured, then Chloe heard about it
"At least call me a woman!" She shouted at him
"My apologies, miss"
"Kukukuku! Look at my power!" She bragged
"So is there another way?" I ignored her
"Anna, she's from the military. She should know a big military base with those. We could also use that to get connections, trade, and a new ally"
"Ohh, that's a good idea. I'll talk to her about it." I said, then she nodded.
"Hey Souta! Leo won't listen to me!!" Chloe shouted like a kid
"Well why should I listen to someone as low as you?" Leo teased her
"Why You—"
And with that, I now have a plan. I asked Anna about it and she told me about it.
In the infirmary:
In her own office, she's a medic in the military. She's a valuable asset to have. She's there sitting and doing her own paperwork.
"Oh? A military with anti EMP? Well, something like that is rare by now, so only the military has it. That's some nice thinking." She said, smiling
"The nuke will cause EMP to the vehicles, so it's needed." I replied
"However the closest military base that has something like that should be the military base 0-261 on the island near here. That base isn't kind to any new people, even us, they resent those who isn't in the island because they think that we're from the 'outside' as they treat their base as safe haven from the heaven. They didn't experience suffering and always take it easy as zombies can't swim"
I then smiled, knowing this information. Anna looked at me with confusion, "They aren't being rude or being arogant… they are just scared" I said
"Are you gonna do something evil now?" She said, grinning
"Oh? Will you be a hero and save your friends?"
"Nahh, they aren't my friends or anything. You can do whatever you want" she said, brushing it off
"Good then" I said "I'll be going now, I still want to see this base you're talking about"
"Take care" she said as she stared at me while I walked out of the infirmary
"Souta… what are you planning?" She murmured
A few days later, the looting began.

The town of Montville, this town, is a bit far away from the trading market. The raiders tried to loot this but failed. This time, one of the groups will try to loot it.
The group that will loot this will be Shana's group, which consists of police officers, some of her group (which is the women they saved from the Urdaneta City)
Ps: For those who are confused, I will be naming the town and city to avoid confusion.
On top of a car truck parked outskirts of the town, Shana is standing on it using her binoculars to look at the town. "Hmmm… the information that Ai given was correct. This town is a ghost town. However, the raiders still failed to loot it. Just mean that there is a base there powerful enough to fight back the raiders." she said
"Alright! As planned, do it!" Shana ordered
