[Bestow: +21 intelligence to nearby troops (Time Limit: 9 min.)]
[Cooldown: 12 Hours]
Although wolves were strong, that wasn't their main form of attack. His strongest wolves were all elemental wolves with their main form of attack being wind magic. As for humans? Was there even a need to say? They were mages...
The Lich looked at Allen in shock as he watched all the troops under Allen fall to the ground as they howled or screamed in pain.
"Now what is your plan I wonder?" Despite the strange circumstances, the Lich didn't take Allen seriously at all as he simply looked at him with his wide smile. Adriri didn't even order any of his horses to attack, instead he slammed his staff down intending to revive his fallen troops.
The troops did just that as they revived they went to attack, but it was too late as a howl marked the start of the desperate attack from Allen's troops. All units attacked without care. The injured would back up just enough to allow themselves to get healed by the light mages before they continued their assault on the undead.
The low leveled battle ended within two minutes! Of course for speed of killing they traded defense as two wolves died! This wasn't much in the grand scheme of things, but it was the first time that any troops had died under Allen. The two Wind Wolves died mostly because they weren't fast enough.
Allen didn't distract himself as he quickly ordered the attack of the Lich's personal troops, in other words the Glorious type troops!
Allen knew he wouldn't survive when the reinforcements arrived, so he didn't falter even when wolves kept dying. Whether they were Great Wind Wolves or simple Wind Wolves, all attacked the high leveled undead.
The mages were doing the most damage and were clearly the most annoying to the Death Nights. Seeing this, three of the ten mounted undead left the circle protecting the Lich and burst into black flames as they charged at the backline mages!
Despite the wall of lava warding off the lower level undead, to these undead it was only an inconvenience that slowed them slightly. The three riders burst through the wall throwing molten rock all over the place!
Luckily most of the mages were fire mages who had a large resistance to fire, but several Dirt and Earth mages died as soon as the lava touched them! Allen didn't have many Earth mages to begin with so the walls quickly stopped being walls with only the remaining mages focusing on the few sections that weren't attacked by the Undead.
"Attack the horses!" Knowing that the riders had bonded armor Allen could only hope the horses could die easier.
Yet the undead didn't let them have it easy as the shadows seemed to come alive and strengthen the undead obviously casting dark boost and dark power. The skill even strengthened the Undead Nightmare!
Soon more focus was put on the three undead here, which allowed them to cause... some damage? As undead they didn't show damage as easily as living creatures, the only way Allen even knew they were causing damage was that the Undead Nightmare showed its skin breaking away. Although it didn't bleed, the small amount of damage shown gave him hope.
Suddenly the undead stopped killing and started to retreat back to the main group. Yet Allen knew he couldn't let this chance escape him! Soon he focused even greater firepower on the three undead riders!
Even as they moved fast past the troops, the three undead were no match for the combined might of Allen's troops! The Undead Nightmares suddenly lost their legs one by one making them immobile!
At this moment the Lich spoke again, but this time it wasn't the usual quiet and casual voice instead, it was a roar as he yelled, "I SAID come back!"
The Death Nights tried to drag their companion back the the Lich, but it was too late as the focus on them was too great. Soon the horse lost all signs of life as the black flames no longer let out its eerie light. The death nights seemed to get more desperate as they tried to drag their companions back, but soon they lost all movement before they simply fell over dead.
Bonded health skill is something that can only be accomplished by the bonding of the literal soul of two beings. They share injuries through the soul and also share health. This creates a larger health pool for both beings, but at the same time, it doesn't account for protections.
Allen would have focused on the rider as he seemed to be in control and the main target, but he could see their skills and understood it was pointless to focus on the rider. Bonded armor skill only allows the bonding of armor to the rider and not the horse. All of this put together helped Allen actually kill the Death Knight and Undead Nightmare.
After the undead riders fell one by one a loud voice yelled out, "YOU DARE!"
The Lich now livid gave up his protective circle of seven elite troops and ordered the riders to attack! The battle had gone on for a while now and Allen only had three minutes of bestow left. That said this short time made it dangerous for him as half of his troops had died! Most of which were lower leveled units. Still, some higher leveled troops died! Including a Glorious Fire mage!
Currently, the number of Wind Wolves is in the single digits! Before he had 30 Wind Wolves. Although such low leveled units shouldn't make much of a difference, they actually served a great purpose as they made the battle messier.
Currently, there were only eight units they were focusing on including the Lich, but they had to focus on all the troops. The undead would attack all troops which included the small wolves, but this gave the Great Wind Wolves a chance to get a clean attack on the undead.
Yet now that the undead were no longer defending they showed their best qualities! They quickly moved through the crowd killing with little damage to themselves. Even so, the Lich didn't just let the situation pass him as he slammed his staff down initiating another revival!
Allen knew that the situation was quickly moving out of his control as his troops died with no end. Even two of his strongest troops died, the Giant Wind Wolves!
Not knowing how to handle the situation, Allen wondered what he could do!
As he was plunged into despair watching his troops die a voice from above woke him from his stupor.
"The Cute Wolves!" Addy's ethereal voice sounded. Although it still had a childish tone, it was much more mature now. "How dare you kill such cuties!"
As she stomped down Allen saw a powerful aura spread all throughout the battlefield! This was her special skill, 'One With the Earth' but what really attracted his attention was the change Addy had taken.
Before she towered over the trees and looked almost like a walking hill, but now she had grown nearly quadrupling her size! Yet that wasn't the only change as her dark brown color mixed with stone had become a smooth deep black. Looking like the most fertile soil available, Addy had changed considerably.
Before when Addy had shown Allen her skill, he was simply keeping the same speed as her, but now he saw clearly that all his wolves gained a speed increase as well. This made the one sided massacre from the undead into a stalemate!
Addy who had stomped on the battlefield didn't actually damage anything as all that was under her was pushed out if alive and brought up into her hand if dead. She held her hand up to her face as she observed the corpses of the dead wolves.
"Poor things..."
Allen looked at her with some excitement. To have such a huge change must mean she did something special! Thinking for a moment it reminded him of Feno who had advanced from Water Elf to Marsh Elf. "ADDY!"
"Huh? O' there you are Allen! How could you not visit me?! You even have this whole fight going on and you haven't come to me? I thought we were friends! Look at what happened now that big sister Addy has been missing for a few days..." Looking back at the dead wolves she whispered to the corpses, "I know you have suffered, so just rest now..."
Despite 'whispering' her size didn't allow for a private conversation as her voice resounded all throughout the battlefield. This left Allen speechless as he was simply trying his best. "Addy! Have you advanced race?"
"Oh! Yes I am in a battle right, *ahem* I am Addy! The great lord of the mountain! My race is now Walking Mountain! I am powerful and here to help!" Despite not having a facial expression, Addy showed how proud she was as she did a peace sign over her eye like a human teenager.
