"Cute." He said.
Sade blushed hard. She never blushed. Unless she was watching her favorite idol group ofcourse.
The other classes as sad as it sounds went by extremely slow but it did end after all.
*a few days later*
Sade hits a smash and earns herself one point. The other girl literally just bends down getting scared by the speed of the shuttle.
"Left side wins." The PE teacher says marking the end of the qualifying round of badminton. Sade wins. Honestly speaking she doesn't really like this sport a lot. She loves swimming. A complete water baby but she has been to badminton coaching just because her parents loved that sport and they were like 'why don't don't you try differently things other than just swimming.' And like that she has been to drawing, karate, basketball, badminton, boxing, swimming and dance classes. Although drawing lasted for just 2 days because the guy wouldn't give the pencils to the kids and tells them to observe. I mean who does that? You are supposed to teach the kid how to hold by making them hold. They can't expect a bunch of 5 year Olds to just sit and observe the guy now can you. Karate on the other hand was nothing far from torture, Sade was pretty good at it but the punishment received if you did something wrong was a bit too... let's just say bad. Basketball was chaos. Complete chaos. It was a camp held by the school itself for free and since everyone were friends nobody really did anything other than just dribble and shoot. Boxing was fun. Only for Sade. She broke so many guys noses, not purposely ofcourse or so I think.... but she went violent and followed the rules. Her parents thought it was not safe for the people around her so got her out. Badminton was just for a month. She was already good at it but got more professional and learnt the perfect techniques.
Swimming and dance tho were her life. Both of them were continued for about 10 years and then she had to stop because she entered high school. Focus on studies and grades not these. She loves music although she does sing like a dying cow. Just terrible. Her parents were like 'do you want to learn classical music?' Sade knowing her singing abilities was like hell naw I don't wanna make people's ears bleed.
Back to the badminton qualifiers.
It was an inter-house competition. There are 4 houses. Red, green, yellow and blue. All the students of red house compete with each other and the winner competes with the winner of the other houses. Sade was in green house. She went to the semifinals and then the bell rang indicating that the time is up and they had to go back to class. These competitions were before the class hours. No excuse on missing any class. Studies first.
She took her racket and sprinted up to class not wanting to be late and get an earful from her teacher. She was walking towards her class and peeped through the window and saw there was no teacher. Noticing that she started dragging her feet walking as slow as possible completely zoned out on God knows what. Probably one of those handsome Korean beauties. At that moment someone snatches her racket. Sade just lazily turns towards the person somehow being completely unfazed. She notices Andrew spinning her racket and checking it out. "It's pretty light. Nice." He says. "Yea, it's my dad's. He loves badminton. You in green house too?" She added not wanting this to end. "Yea. Since you are coming up at this time I'm guessing you went to finals?" He continued. "Oh no, just the semi. The bell rang too fast." She said.
"Go inside your class." The teacher spoke from behind which made them rush inside not wanting to be questioned anymore.
