Just when she thought it was useless to get over her feelings, Abby decided to take a stroll outside on the lawn, hoping she would finally feel better.
Abby had just come downstairs from her room when she heard a faint sound of conversation. She paused to see who it was and her eyes widened in shock
"Uncle Jubin," Abby muttered as she descended slowly, coming to a stop at the very last step.
Her presence caught Jubin's attention and his smile broadened even more.
"Here she is." He said this and held out his hand, motioning for her to come join them.
Abby was taken aback to see Jubin, but she ignored the awkwardness and sat down beside him when she saw her father gesturing for her to join them.
