"I am always available to listen," Hazel said as she observed Vincent glancing at her.
Vincent leaned forward to kiss her lips as he was somehow made to feel more at ease by the commitment in her eyes.
"I know, but I am afraid you will leave me after finding out everything I did to appease my mother."
Hazel's eyes narrowed on his statement and she shook her head.
"No, I won't," she instantly responded, and she saw him grin.
"I destroyed my brother's life and tried to court his ex to get back at him," Vincent said, staring into her affirmed eyes.
Hazel's lips parted in shock as she was taken aback by his words.
His eyes became teary once more as he said, "I was attracted to the woman whom I frame to hurt my brother only to realize that my brother always care for me."
Vincent's heart sank when he didn't hear her utter a word and the shock in her face made him feel suffocated.
