Mello got ready for school early the following day. Clara was relieved that he appeared far more thrilled than she could have imagined, as it eased Mello's concerns.
"Dad, will you come get me off at school every day?" Mello asked while seated in the chair in front of the breakfast table.
"Yes, I will. In actuality, your mother and I will drop you off at school each day." He continued, making Mello's smile even bigger.
"YES!" he exclaimed, and they started eating breakfast.
Adrian and Clara headed to drop Mello off at school shortly after finishing their breakfast.
As their car screeched in front of the tall school gate, Clara then turned to look at Mello a instructed a few things.
"Mello, you need to be attentive and learn everything. If there is any problem, you will let Mommy and Daddy know about it, okay?"
Adrian grinned as he observed the two from the side, saying, "Also, you will call Daddy first if anyone tries to bully you."
