"Mello is growing accustomed to being around Adrian. Abby commented as she joined Clara in the kitchen, "You see how well they are bonding."
Peeping through the door, Clara observed Mello and Adrian having fun. She was happy to see them together, even if she never imagined Adrian had this side.
"It's interesting—I've never seen Mello this content. I feel bad about keeping him apart from his father," admitted Clara.
Clara wondered if she was really so set in her decision now that she knew what went wrong. There was something about Adrian that inspired her to tell him about Mello ever since she came back and began working for him.
Clara saw that Adrian never had a strong relationship with his family because of the life he had been leading all these time.
She recalled an instance when Adrian confided in her regarding his fears. Even though he was inebriated at the time, he spoke the truth.
