Clara's eyes darted between Adrian and Regina. The deafening silence between them was suffocating her and Clara regretted not leaving the cabin on her own.
Regina's eyes stared ahead at Adrian contemplating emotions swirling within them. She couldn't disagree with him even if she hated sharing the same space with Clara.
Regina hated how Adrian prioritized Clara before her and that made her jealous even more.
"So Miss Regina. What did you want to talk about?" Adrian asked occupying his seat leisurely. But the seriousness in his eyes made her gulp.
Regina had made up her mind to convince Adrian to change his mind and continue sponsoring her. But now, her resolve was slowly shaking.
Adrian had always been indifferent to her, but she never expected him to be ruthless as well. He went against his grandfather's wish and ended the contract with her. However now she wanted to know the reason behind his withdrawal.
