Clara jumped off the couch listening to Adrian's words. He wasn't a suggestion but rather an order.
"No!! there is no need to get the police involved in this." Clara said quickly distanced herself from Adrian. There was no way she was going to file a complaint at the police station.
"And why is that so? Do you think someone who attacked you before wouldn't dare to come after you again?" Adrian asked crossing his leg over the other with his eyes sharply staring at Clara.
"Or do you have another way to catch the culprit?" he added.
Adrian couldn't understand why was Clara trying to conceal this matter. Today the attacker just threatened her but what if the next time he tries to kill her?
'Wasn't she scared for her life?'
Adrian was frustrated every time the thought of something happening to her crossed his mind. It was painful to see how carelessly she was betting on her life to get spared the other time.
