Clara felt like throwing the phone away, however, she couldn't. She almost ended up tearing up when he brought up the contract in between their fight and in the end helpless, Clara had to follow his words silently.
Taking a deep breath she snapped.
"First go and sleep on the bed!" she said sternly.
Adrian furrowed at the change of her tone and said," Excuse me. Are you instructing me?"
"Yes and if you want me to keep talking then do as I say or else.."
"Okay okay I am going?" scared by the warning, Adrian quickly followed her words and laid on the bed with his phone resting against his ear.
Adrian could sense Clara had reached her limits and if he kept bossing her, she wouldn't mind breaching the contract.
So taking a sensible step, he obediently followed her words.
"I am sleeping," he said and waited for her to speak.
"Good, now just close your eyes and listen to me quietly" Clara dictated with the same bossy tone.
