Vincent eyes his mother from the side and sighed.
"If there's nothing else, then I'll take my leave," He said and stood to leave.
"I am not done yet" Cassandra's wicked smile faded and she looked at his son.
Vincent returned to his seat and eyed his mother lazily.
"I heard you aren't focusing on the company's welfare and neglecting your work. Vincent, I told you this is the only way to prove yourself. Is it so hard to understand my words" Cassandra snapped.
Vincent had been a difficult child to deal with. Her broken marriage affected the boy mentally. However, she tried her best to make up for the loss her son faced during his childhood.
She provided him with a luxurious life that he couldn't get from his father. Educated him to the most reputed schools and universities. Yet instead of proving himself, Vincent every time failed.
